Sparksoot Goblins Set - December 2019 Release

This Set is from a previous month, but you can still Buy the STL here :)

Now that you have all the important links and informations, let's start our usual crappy description of the models. To see the original size, right click and open in a new tab.

As always the release scale is 32mm (for a human). People who play at 28mm scale usually scale down our models to 85-90%, but we encourage you to test them at full size :)

Modular Sparksoot Goblins
These crazy and crafty Goblins loves explosives of any kind, but they know how to hold a sharp blade! Build your own using your favourites weapons from this set, including blades, axes, spears, shields, explosives... and guns?!

This month the Modular are 6 instead of 4, as we decided to make 2 Goblin Ladies without having to sculpt less goblin guys, we really had fun with their faces variety! If you think female Goblins should be less "feminine", just use a male one and pretend it's a girl ;)

We are well known for our modular models: balljointed wrist miniatures with various weapon options, perfect to create your custom hero, your Wargame warband/army or your perfect rpg encounter.
Needs various different defenders? Glue shields and one handed weapons.
Need dual wield warriors? Mirror the weapon+hand files and use it on both hands.
Need gunners and exlposive specialist? you can easly make those.
Need Mages and Technicians? Use the staves we provided with the Hero Zipzaap
Need a fantasy football team? Use the empty fists ;)
As always we prefer to give you each month the tools to make your perfect models, no need to make clones and clones with the only difference being a weapon, expecially because you'll  support less bodies but have more variety.

Dzwingo the Tallest
Every Goblin fear Dzwingo the Tallest, the strongest goblin of the Sparksoot Clan. It is said that his father was a goblin, and his mother was a Troll...but this is another story!
Dzwingo is the general of the tribe, and his skill with the sword is unmatched.

Zipzaap Darkspark
True leader of the Sparksoot tribe and spiritual guide, Zipzaap is also called "the lunatic". Wise and crazy at the same time, he is a true schizophrenic genius with two distinct personalities: mad technician and mysterious necromancer . He's the one who invented most of the Sparksoot contraptions, including bombs, explosives, and even the giant Scrap Golem. Zipzaap comes also with Necromantic accessories and spells!

Lyzz Kaboom
This crazy Goblin lady is passionated about explosives and traps. She recently assembled a huge amount of giant missiles with Zipzaap with the plan to launch a bunch of nude goblins on a human town, what a smart plan! She just jumped on one of those to test it!
The missile comes also as standalone piece.

Zipzaap on Dread Skullspider
Influenced by the ancient Sarcophagus Guardian Ossarnus, Zipzaap Darkspark managed to tame and twist with his necromantic power a giant spider, transforming it in a undead monstruosity. The Dread Skullspider comes separated from its rider and base to be used as standalone monster.

Scrap Golem
Compatible with any model with a 25mm base as rider, the Scrap Golem is the biggest creation of Zipzaap Darkspark. Infused with powerful spells it is able to move and fight by himself like any other construct, but the Sparksoot Goblins like to ride it and throw Spells/Bombs from it's top to their enemies! Are you ready to unleash a trail of deah and distruction? Cut in smart pieces for easy printing.

Once again, please remember that these releases had been protected with a Password, check them and the links on top of the post. Thank you!

Last Month Models are Expired
As always, your pledge of this Month will give you access to this Month Set, not the previous one.
Have you been a patron Last month but forgot to download the links?
In that case send us a private message (don't comment here, otherwise we will lose track).
If you are not in the November list you need to get the previous release on our
MyMiniFactory Shop.

AMAZONS! Late Pledge
https://amazons.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders
Our Kickstarter Late Pledge is available till the end of the year! After that you'll no longer be able to Late Pledge and will need to buy the Amazons! Sculpts individually in our shop. The overall price of the single models will be much higher of course.
The pack is HUGE (to see all the models click in the link), and even if you just need half of the bundle it's still less expensive to Late Pledge now.

I apparently missed this one, but haven't missed any others since the vampire one. Any chance for a link? I thought I got this one in time :(

Donald Spafford

Hey ive been a supporter since August i think, is there any chance to get the link? Best

Mike Liebke

Ive been a supporter since October any chance for a link?

Daniel Frost

I became a supporter in december, was able to download these files, but then my computer became corrupted and i had to wipe my harddrive. I lost these files when i re-installed windows. Can i please get a link to re-download them?

Chris Sanders

Hi guys, I joined on the 31st but was unable to download due to the holidays, could I get a link to the files for December please?

Eskimo Jones

Hello there, late supporter here. Will all the models be made available on the MyMiniFactory store eventually? Some seem to be missing. Keep up the awesome work!

Martin

Hi guys, I missed the download link because of the holidays. Is it still possible to get the goblins?

Andrea Bigatti

Hey guys, as usual I love your models - they are the most printable and easily the most detailed models I have come across! Absolutely stunning! I tried downloading the Sparksoot Goblins set last month, but my files must have been corrupted due to poor internet connection. Would it be possible to send me a new link for that? I have been a patron for maybe four or five months now and am so happy to stay, regardless of the current month's set :)

Daniel Davis

Pls send a december link.

Serp

Had you been able to download them in the end? If now drop us a message, Francesca is sharing new links to who have pledged for December but didn't downloaded in time. Thanks!

Artisan Guild

I am not able to download the minis for Dec. I remembered last min and it's now saying the link password is incorrect.

Brian Laux

Wondering if anyone has made or knows of a homebrew monster sheet for the Scrap Golem that I can use as a template?

Zac

Could you print a 100mm base in clear resin and then paint/finish the center 50mm so you can mount the miniature to the larger base, but on a game mat only the 50mm opaque portion of the base would be "occupied?"

Jason Lund

Why use glue? A dab of resin off of a paintbrush and a hit with a UV flashlight will weld the bits together as though they printed together as a single model (you'll want to cure it fully later). I found a few swipes with a file took care of any tight fits from the AG multi-part models, usually the "peg" or male end of the joint was a bit long so it was a simple matter to knock off a few thou with a small mill file and it was good to go.

Jason Lund

I just started putting the junk golem together and the sockets for the arm to connect to the shoulders are a bit snug firstly so maybe accounting a bit more for tolerances may be helpful. it would be easy to make a mess with glue trying to feel how they should fit on. perhaps using square pegs instead of round ones in the future may be a better choice? it would take out some of the guess work.

Evan Boone

This may have been covered already but I have a small issue with the Golem (and the spider). Their bases are MASSIVE, actually 100mm, and at most 5E tables that would classify these creatures as "Huge" to "Gargantuan" leaning towards the latter and based on the models themselves I would have trouble calling them anything larger than "Large." I would re-base them on an appropriate 50mm base but the Stance is so wide he is almost in a Split, I love a good wide stance action pose but it can make basing the models on size appropriate bases difficult. In the future I would request that maybe not such wide stances be used to be able to accommodate basing figures on size appropriate bases? Thanks, love your work, keep it up!

Rory Donovan

Tilted with supports looks like the norm when I've seen support pics

Chris Thompson

i see you have a printing community on facebook, sorry!

Theon

Hi! i'm a new patreon, (and new at 3D printing too) I recently purchased a resin 3D printer, everything is pretty clear on printing miniatures, but i'm a little worried about printing bases, i heard is nos good printing big flat surfaces... so i wanted to ask you guys as you are probably experts in this matter. ¿How do you print the bases? (tilted and wit a few supports? ¿Flat? ¿Have you found any problems with that?

Theon

Can't attach images :) No, there is no auto scale in 3D Builder either. No idea why it does it here with some (minor) items but I can fix it easily on my side. ^^

MadMike

definitely a software problem, we just open Dzwingo with all his pieces and it's just fine. Make sure you have not "auto scale" functions enabled :)

Artisan Guild

did you open in MM or CM's that auto sizes things if its the wrong option?

Marti3P

The sizes look ok to me. At least Cura can automatically increase model size, if it's too small. But to do that, it needs to be "barely visible", and you get clear notification about that. One rather quick way for checking the sizes of multiple models approximately: Open ChiTuBox, and simply multiselect all files when opening file. Not very exact, but you can easily see, if one model is,say, 3x the size.

Jupp3

Maybe it was an issue with simplify3d - Dzwingo had a huge fist. Had it before sometimes on the human modulars, too (in 3d builder) 😂

MadMike

very strange, we and several testpritner tested everything. Could you please provide the name of the gigant hands in this set? thanks :)

Artisan Guild

HUGE request: please, please, please check the files of your modular hands triple. Almost every release some of them are super huge. ;)

MadMike

I appreciate these getting released right on the first. Any idea what the timeline is for the renders for the merchant tier? Thanks!

Victor Gomez

Can i choose the Model für the Painting-Competition by my own or ist there a defined one to take?

Stefan Glieber

I like the inclusion of guns. In my opinion, the models don't have to be 100% concentrated on fantasy, or even wargaming. Has there been discussion regarding inclusion of some "non-weapon" items too? For example lanterns wouldn't look out-of-place in the hands of some of these goblins, even if used for wargaming. Pickaxes obviously double as mining tools too.

Jupp3

I have no idea what you're talking about of looking "too similar". The goblins look nothing like the Goldmaw look nothing like the Underdark release look nothing like the Dwarves etc, etc, ad nauseam. As for the pinups, they're a staple of AG's release schedule and something many of us look forward to. Hell, they're the one thing I almost always print to just have fun painting even if I have no use for everything in a set. There's nothing wrong with them doing a pinup for each release, even ones you find 'unsexy'.

Nevermoar

So happy that Goblins won this month!

Chris Gladin

Kick ass!

Mooseworks Plastic Soldiers

I had no problem downloading with Chrome

Generalnuke

Note I was able to download it in Edge, only Chrome was flagging it as malicious. Note that Norton Antivirus flags the site itself as an identity risk.

Joe Kushner

Also for the record I love the pinups.

Joey Wojtowicz

So excited for the goblins! I didn’t even vote for them but I’m always happy when I see AG take on different races. I feel like it gets away from the “typical” poses and makes minis exciting again.

Joey Wojtowicz

Anyone else getting flagged as a virus? I tried the whole thing and just one folder at a time. Flagged both times when trying to download.

Joe Kushner

What are you talking about? These look nothing like the lizards from last month, and just because you don't like the goblin pinup doesn't mean there isn't anyone into that. I'll take that lizard beauty over some generic elf anyday.

BanditRaptor

I'd rather an extra champion every month, I've no need for the pin ups, but it is what it is.

Jon Bowers

Yes Downloaded and printing now

Jonathan Gibson

This is Artisan Guilds style, they do the exact same model types each month, and the pin up is part of it, i quite like the idea of how they make these "not so sexy" models sexy.

Matchu Egan

Couple things. The designs are really starting to look too similar. Each month looks more like the last. Also, if you're doing a weird race, like these goblins, they don't NEED a female sexy pinup. Because, well...there's NOTHING sexy about a goblin. Why not just add another champion that month or something?

Wil

😍

Marti3P

Well, I best start printing a Goblin army then! Those Spiders look AMAZING!!
