What Tarantino film do we watch next?

HELP! If there are any other movies to add let us know.... also please note if there are extended versions or movies to watch after!

Comments

Django's good, real good...

Jim Schmitz

There's no real reason to watch them in order (other than Kill Bill being part 1 and part 2). The films aren't in any timeline or anything. You can watch whichever film you want, whenever you want, and it won't affect your viewing at all.

Chase Schleich

He was writer/director for the following films (in order of release): Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill 1, Kill Bill 2, Death Proof, Inglorious Basterds, Django Unchained, Hateful Eight, Once Upon A Time in Hollywood

Louie Anderson

do you have a list, and also, did we start at pulp fiction

Mr. October

The Warriors was a great movie.

Robert Nelson

I do love that movie, not my favorite of his but there is something about it thats just so endearing other than the manson part lol I liked just stepping into the shoes of those characters, it wasn't a deep heavy plot it was just a day in the life of those guys and even tho her role was small Margot Robbie really was great. It just makes you feel happy when she is on screen.

I feel like the most outspoken/invested more niche inclined patrons aren't who's showing up on the polls, it's the quieter ones just here for the blockbusters. But maybe they're less annoying than us with an opinion and over explanation for everything 😁😅.

Lady Stoneheart (Uncat)

Exactly. 💯

Chris

I would do that too

MO

Other. I beg of you to do Rambo: First Blood or The Warriors.

DarrellWaller

Yeah do this actually

Lady Stoneheart (Uncat)

Can you also put a "see results" option

Lady Stoneheart (Uncat)

Watch ALL of them, every one of them....great entertainment!!

Kim

I would watch them in release order, honestly. You already started with his second film, but I would go back and watch Reservoir Dogs followed by Jackie Brown and then so on down the list. It would be fun to watch his evolution as a director.

Louie Anderson

9 Ep. limited series, very popular, haven't seen a reaction in a while, but many did it during and shortly after it aired. Good addition to a series poll, imo. But I digress....

Jim Schmitz

I’m with you! I’d love to see them episode out the extended version.

Everett Nation

Django is great and it’s winning, but there’s a great extended version of hateful eight that’s broken up into four episodes that was out on Netflix not too long ago. If you don’t watch it with the community definitely check out in your private time anyhow. Love you guys! And also get the Fargo series in the polls!!

Everett Nation

They are all kick azz movies, but voted Reservoir Dogs because it was the 1st one of his that I saw.

Robert Nelson

To be honest I knew very little. I knew some guy named Charles Manson led a cult called the Manson Family and they killed some people and that somehow was relevant to the story, but nothing much beyond that and still LOVED the movie. Afterwards I did a bunch of research on the events, but going into it was almost blind.

DBRussell37

48 votes in and I'm literally the only person that voted for Hateful Eight so far.......gawd dayum.

TA Slay

I've seen reactors who have no idea about the history surrounding Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, it's almost a waste for someone to go in not knowing what happened to Sharon Tate. I was on the edge of my seat the whole movie because I knew exactly what was supposed to happen.

Chris

Don't forget Jackie Brown and Once Upon a TIme in Hollywood. If/when you get to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, you need to read up on the actual history of Sharon Tate (while also avoiding movie spoilers), otherwise not much of it will have an impact.

Chris

I'd say that you should go in chronological order, but what do I know.

Chris

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood might be my favorite movie of all time; Django Unchained and Inglorious Bastards are both probably in my Top-10, maybe Top-5.

DBRussell37

I can see that. Makes sense. I may not have ever seen it had a friend not shown it to me where as Kill Bill is a household name.

Jesse Lee

It’s cuz it’s very niche, I love it as well but the other movies are much more normie friendly. It’s probably the least viewed by most people today as well even tho it’s great and what launched his career

Christian

Reservoir Dogs doesn't seem to be very popular based on several polls I've seen but it's one of my favorites. It's extremely dialogue heavy and time jumpy. Maybe that's why. Just don't have Mr. Pink play the worlds smallest violin on my behalf :)

Jesse Lee

Django followed by Hateful Eight.

Mark Walston

Can’t go wrong with any, all amazing movies. I'd go in order, Reservoir Dogs was his first movie.

Christian

KILL BILL
