Since y'all brought up bats and "didn't realize they have eyes," I'd like to take this opportunity to share a few bat facts :D - Bats are adorable, and some folks in the ecological sciences community, myself included, lovingly refer to them as the puppies of the sky. Unfortunately, I can't share pictures on these posts, but I will post one to the chat soon as proof of their adorable-ness. - Although bats have eyes, their vision is not very good, hence the phrase "blind as a bat." -Ecologists have marveled at bats' agility in flight, finding it astonishing that they are able to successfully navigate around objects while flying. Bats can fly relatively fast and turn on a dime, despite having extremely poor eyesight, thanks to their ability to sense objects via echolocation. However, it was recently discovered that their "agility" and echolocation aren't so great with moving objects, and bats are basically running into things ALL THE TIME while they are flying, including each other (HAHA). 2024-07-18 01:36:29 +0000 UTCDaredevil will have a new series called Daredevil: Born Again on D+ sometime next year. Daredevil does pop up in She-Hulk. Before you watch the 3rd season of DD you will need to watch The Defenders. It teams DD, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. So I think you need to watch their individual 1st seasons of their shows before Defenders. Then the 3rd season of DD. The other Defenders will eventually pop up in future MCU movies and shows.

2024-07-16 20:43:20 +0000 UTCOne thing they changed about Daredevil from the comics is his ability to read. Matt didn't read braille in the comics. His sense of touch was so good he could actually feel the ink on the paper with his fingers. Have you two ever seen the movie Full Metal Jacket? Kingpin is the actor that went crazy during boot camp and shot himself in the bathroom. It's awesome going on this journey with you. I hope you both end up watching the other Marvel series eventually. Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Punisher. I know you guys will love Punisher from your reaction to Daredevil! Can't wait for the next one!

Off the top of my head, you could also check out First Blood (1982) which is a masterpiece or Silence of the Lambs (1991) another masterpiece thriller movie.

2024-07-16 15:03:01 +0000 UTCI'm just south of Houston where Hurricane Beryl hit. Mass destruction and I haven't had power or internet for days. Finally got power back, thank God, and things are starting to get back to normal. So glad to catch up with you guys and watch some DD and get back to normal. Man, what a weird week. First a hurricane, loss of electricity, then Trump gets shot....July has been a weird month so far. I just want to get to some MoonKnight and Fantastic Four action now!
