Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) Reaction

This was a movie made for the Spider-Man superfan & we loved it! All the good memories brought up, all the scary villains in one place, this was such a good time!

10/10 Spider-Man film!

Thanks for making us watch things to understand others, we wouldn't know what to do without ya'll! You made that experience 20 times better and didn't spoil anything! We had no idea Tobey and Andrew would come help in this one!

Obviously this is going to bring us to a new Venom film, and Dr Strange film, which is EXCITING!

Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) Reaction

His spider sense raw

C. J. Ramirez

That was someone's theory, that the others were sucked into the MCU at the point of their deaths, but that is not true. Dr. Conners was cured and then sent to prison at the end of the 1st Amazing Spiderman, he didnt die. The Sandmand also didnt die at the end of Spiderman 3, he just went away in a cloud of sand.

Peter's spider-sense, they revealed in the comics, is linked to his nervous system, so it's not a conscious thing. He feels the danger and moves to avoid it, even though his conscious mind may not know what the danger is or from where it is coming from at first. It seems like the closer the danger is to getting him, the more an idea forms where it's coming from and why he's moving to avoid it. The wavy lines you see around his head when he's outside of his body is exactly how it's represented in the comics.😁

Thadman

They already saw gotg holiday special

asia roberson

They did the pointing meme in the movie too. I've seen the film multiple times and this was the first time I noticed them do it. It's when they're all in the lab and Ned starts asking for Peter, Peter Parker. They each point at the other.

Chase Schleich

These MCU reactions are fire! Next up... Moon Knight (2022) Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022) Ms. Marvel (2022) Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) I Am Groot (2022) She-Hulk (2022) Werewolf By Night (2022) Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022) Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas Special (2022) Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023) Guardians of the Galaxy 3 (2023) Secret Invasion (2023) Loki Season TWO (2023) The Marvels (2023) What If...? season 2 (2023) Echo (2024)

Mr. Reggie

I love that they had some Spider-Man memes in this too. Like "I'm somewhat of a scientist myself". And I think behind the scenes the 3 Spider-Mans got together in their suits and did the pointing meme.

ShittyShittyGameGang

The theater experience was so fucking good. People dressed as Spider-Man and getting so fucking hyped when all the old characters came in! Pretty sure I watched it 3 times in theater.

ShittyShittyGameGang

I have room for another show rn so I may actually watch it on my own first, and definitely want to give DD a shot, just juggling a lot atm 😓

Lady Stoneheart (Uncat)

Please do watch Moon Knight with them, from the things you post, I think you will enjoy it. I'd also suggest giving their DD S1 Ep1 reaction a chance to see if you like it, I remember you said you haven't watched it either.

Peter K

I'm here! 😁 I had some criticisms with this movies pacing that I thought could have been fixed by cutting some of the humor, but overall ofc as an og stan (of the movies), got all the feels from the heavy fan service. I'm not sure how I feel about some of the direct online discourse/meme nods, but I appreciated the efforts put in to really bringing things together for the audience, as well as the round out to Tom Hollands "coming of age" portrayal trajectory. Have not yet seen Moon Night, but may watch with you, otherwise Spiderverse and Multiverse of Madness LETS GO!!! 🤘🏾😁🤘🏾

Lady Stoneheart (Uncat)

I love the moment when he's thanking Pete 2 & 3, because I'm pretty sure he grew up watching them like we did and actually does appreciate them and honors the opportunity to now fill their role.

Lady Stoneheart (Uncat)

Yes the apartment was supposed to resemble Tobey's since he is "the grown up spiderman" in the MCU. Idk what comics. Andrew Garfield is The Amazing Spiderman comics representation. And Tom is supposed to represent a combo of nostalgic return to form. I haven't read all the comics, but I'm just such a pop culture nerd and fan of the MU and characters that I can tell when a scene or costume is a direct nod to past adaptation, original art, storylines, characters, run eras.

Lady Stoneheart (Uncat)

Yeah for total newbs maybe they do gotta watch all the stuff, but I haven't seen Daredevil show yet, but know who he is, because I am marvel fan in general. I don't know every single Easter egg and nod all the time, but I forgot they didn't know jack lol.

Lady Stoneheart (Uncat)

Moving forward you need to know and do a few things. First off, the next (non-animation) Marvel movie you should watch for things to make sense is: "Fantastic Four (2005)" You've already watched the 'what if' is you're good on that. And what a lot of people don't notice in this movie, but should be noted.. "Peter Parker" has been erased from the MCU universe, meaning he has to re-establish who he is as a person. That being said.. his "Nano-technology"-suit won't recognize him because of that. Hence why you see him making a new suit at the end of this movie. I'm super curious to see how all these characters that normally were surrounding Peter have now developed with Peter's absence in their lives. If y'all have any questions, feel free to dm me, ill explain/tell you spoiler-free. Great reaction as always.

Lifehouse

They don't know anything about the Inhumans either. They're going to be pretty confused during those parts lol

Chase Schleich

This was the best movie tom Holland made. Next is moon 🌙 knight

asia roberson

Gonna need to explain a couple of things to them because they've never seen a Fantastic Four film or anything Inhumans (that show was unwatchable so not even suggesting they watch it first). Someone try to explain to them what they need to know, but without spoiling anything. Good luck! lol

Chase Schleich

Oh they aged, but we have magic in this universe too and it's called CGI. Multiple characters were digitally de-aged to make them look closer to how they looked in their films since they were supposed to be taken from their universes right before they died. Some of those were almost 20 years ago so they had to do a little CGI magic to make them look younger. Lizard and Sandman were completely CGI until their little 2 second cameos in human form at the end. Remember in the Amazing Spider-Man, Connors could only be The Lizard for a short time before the serum wore off and he'd become human again. Well in this movie he's just The Lizard for 2 days straight lol. He and the Sandman actor didn't have time to be in the film so they just did voice over instead and were able to come in for a few hours to do their post-cure cameos.

Chase Schleich

Im so glad Mr Oct picked up on Andrew saving MJ when he couldn't save in his own universe.

Hitmon

I forgot about the Dr Strange 2 trailer 😳 it was an epic experience to witness in real time. Unfortunately, the movie is underwhelming.

JM

They are definitely bringing spiderman back but this movie set it up for him to be detached from the Avengers and now we can get the real spiderman stories fighting street level crime like Fisk and all that, They put Daredevil in this probably to tease a future team up hopefully. Even left the bread crumb for a Venom movie.

Christian

I dont think they really need to watch it, would just be better if they know fantastic 4 is a thing.

Christian

The best Spiderman movie tom Holland was in. Next us moon 🌙 knight

asia roberson

The aunt may scene gets me everytime! Great reaction, and can't wait for your reaction to more Wanda!!!

Moonbie

Ok, gotta get tissued up for this...thanks. Tom Holland came of age with this film. He truly held his own with all the great talent assembled here, imo. That, along with the concept itself, puts it in my 5 fav MCU films.

Jim Schmitz

Hold up ..... Mrs O doesn't know who Jamie Foxx is??! WHAAT? Multiple Oscar awards. Multiple platinum albums. Dude is one of the most talented ppl in Hollywood in my lifetime. Maybe Octobers 2.0 react to some Jamie Foxx music. I'm so baffled. Man owned all of 2005, the album Unpredictable was an album that doesn't need the skip button, and Oscars for the movie Ray in the same year. Women loved that Unpredictable album, 100% success rate if you follow. lol

Bulletproof

First off Great reaction💙 love you guys. This was definitely the most Anticipated movie of the year. The fact that Tobey , Andrew, Wasn’t in none of the trailers and there scenes were edited out of the trailers was crazy because we ALLLLL got to experience them coming back in theatre. I feel like the hardcore spider man fans do want more because of how it ended. Spider-Man was alway known to be alone. He has an apartment that’s always late on rent. He helps people . Tangle with other superhero’s. because we never got that with Tom & we felt like he had it easy because he didn’t make his suit he was always iron man’s sidekick. It was a breath of fresh air to see them set up the spider man where it is almost JUST LIKE THE COMICS. 💙 I think that Tom has signed on to do another trilogy. So we will indeed see more ESPECIALLY now that venom is involved well a peice of him😂. We will get Spider-Man on his grown up shit.

Tayshawn Williams

Spiderman will be back, Tom Holland's contract was extended after this flick. Wasn't it better to know who his lawyer was? I'm just saying...

Peter K

Just got home... you know what time it is!

RegTravels

Also I forgot about the last end credit scene it was basically a trailer I would of told yall to skip it so hope it didn’t spoil too much

Gio Bellisario

This was one of the best movie theater experiences I wish I could relive

Gio Bellisario

Forgot all about the Dr. Strange trailer at the end credits. That being said, you need to see Fox's Fantastic Four (2005) before you watch that. You know the drill by now.....watch something and a character pops up in the next movie, so I don't think it's a spoiler to say you need to meet the FF before Multiverse of Madness. I know you prefer the movies, but one of the weirdest series is coming next..... MoonKnight. It is a banger. I think you guys will love it. If you like mystery and figuring things out as you go along you will really love it. It's one of my faves.

DarrellWaller

Yall the most consistent reactors I know 🔥🔥…and it’s a small detail but when Peter fights Dr Strange and gets separated from his body, his spidey senses are basically in autopilot and moving his body for him when strange is trying to reach for the cube.

TC24

Great 😸👍👍

2kkiller9.000

I remember seeing it the first day it came out in theaters. I’ve never seen people more hyped for a movie. It was so fun watching it and hearing people’s reactions. 🤣such a surreal experience.

It’s Angie

we are gonna watch some Daredevil and then that movie!

Mr. October

When Flash went to the donut shop, he wasn’t trying to rub in that he got into MIT. He was under the impression that Peter, Ned, and Michelle were all gonna attend. Peter’s first mentor was Iron Man through the events of Civil War. Then Fury kinda filled in that capacity. Now it makes the most sense to have Doctor Strange fill the role of mentor given everything that’s happened not to mention that they’re both heroes of New York. When Peter’s soul was ejected from his body, you could see the Spidey-Sense tingling around him. My favorite funny moments were flying green elf, butt-ass naked, and math cooler than magic. Natalie Gold, Alex Hefner, and Rana from the Normies would agree that math is not cooler. When I first saw this movie in theaters, I didn’t notice that the three Peters were pointing at each other. I was laughing because they were saying the same thing at the same time. That alone cracks me up very easily. De La Soul’s song The Magic Number has three different meanings tied to this film: 1.) It’s the third MCU Spider-Man entry 2.) MCU Peter teamed up with two variants 3.) Peter, his best friend Ned, and his girlfriend Michelle were a trinity. De La Soul’s entire discography is finally available on all digital platforms. Sadly though, one of their members known as Trugoy the Dove has passed away about a year ago at 54 years old. The purple tears in the sky showed a number of variants of Spider-Man characters. Among them included a version of Kraven the Hunter and a more humanoid Rhino. Kraven is one of several characters getting their own films in the SSU (Sony’s Spider-Man Universe.) He’s a hunter who specializes in creating ingenious traps to catch his game including Spider-Man. Kraven was portrayed by Aaron Taylor-Johnson who was also Pietro Maximoff/Quicksilver in Avengers: Age of Ultron. The film was set for last October, but then the strikes happened. So now the movie has been moved to this August. Although in all honesty, the SSU sucks. You’re not missing much. I dunno how well Kraven will fare, but we’ll see how it goes. In the meantime, the great thing about making it this far into the MCU is that Moon Knight is next.
