For sure Avengers 5 or Avengers Secret Wars as its called will have a mixture of the old and the new. They do seem all over the place.

My b im kinda misinformed as to what the goal or future of marvel is post Kang actor controversy & are or aren’t they bringing ppl back? It’s just so complicated. & I still haven’t watched like eternals & Shang chi, anything that didn’t involve the OG marvel phases? I haven’t watched, 10 rings? Idk multiverse of madness & no way home? Yes. Ms marvel? Or the marvels? No. Eventually I’ll watch them ig?

Thinking next jump will do the higher jump from 17,500 w oxygen, get a lot longer free fall time. Glad to hear your doing good tho man. 2024-06-27 00:15:33 +0000 UTCShe Hulk gets hate because some people obviously never read her comic books, or they would know it was a parody of comics in general and they played it for laughs. Also, I think some believe Deadpool was the first to break the fourth wall, but She Hulk was doing that long before there was a Deadpool. Honestly I think the hate comes from leaving behind the OG heroes for new ones, and that is foolish, I'm impressed that they were able to hold onto those actors for more than a decade. But the truth is the OG heroes were getting too old to keep playing superheroes. And Darrell, after the way Tony raved about the historical aspects of Shang Chi, I'm pretty sure that he is is gonna love the Moon Knight story line.

2024-06-26 21:54:18 +0000 UTCSo this is essentially a setup show. It sets up Kate Bishop as the next archer (similar to the comics), it also sets up Maya aka Echo who is an antihero who is deaf. Very skilled hand to hand fighter. And also Jack Duquesne in the comics is a character known as Swordsmaster. So its really here to setup these characters going forward I think.

Just a cool nod to that Brooke is really good at putting the pieces together. Yes, that is Yelena and she was sent by Val (Elaine) to kill him but WHO hired her to kill Hawkeye?? Episode 5 is my favorite and why I love this series so much. You guys will laugh your ass off, and then there is the suprise ending that leads into the finale. You guys are correct that a lot of Phase 4 is about dealing with grief. It's also about introducing new characters that are sometimes hit or miss. MoonKnight is coming up shortly and you will love it and be totally confused. One of the most offbeat series yet, then there is She-Hulk. She Hulk gets a lot of hate but I think it is one of the most fun, ridiculous series yet. I'll talk about that when we get there. Enjoy the last 2 episodes of Hawkeye, they are really good!!

2024-06-26 19:48:41 +0000 UTCMaya Lopez is one of the MCU’s first deaf characters along with Makkari the Speedy Eternal. Meet Alaqua Cox. Like Adrian said, this is her first acting role ever. A friend of hers sent her a link to a casting call for a Native deaf person. She turned it down the first time, but then two other friends sent her the same link. After three months worth of e-mails back and forth, she was cast into this role. She’s also a real-life amputee. They integrated that into her character. However, due to her prosthetic leg there were some kicks that she wasn’t able to execute. Those were left to her stunt double. She also fights with her elbows more than her fists. They had her limit her punching to protect her hands so she can continue communicating with ASL. Alaqua’s real life cousin Darnell Besaw got to portray Maya as a kid. And finally, a few months ago, Alaqua and her fiancé welcomed their first son into the world.

In this show, she's also an amputee. That's because her actress, Alaqua Cox, is a deaf Native American and also an amputee, so they added it. This is also her first acting job.
