Game of Thrones Season 5 Episode 3 & 4

What the heck they doing to Sansa?

Season 5 is crazy already!

Game of Thrones Season 5 Episode 3 & 4

Comments

Seeing Barristan Selmy in battle for the first time, showing the viewers why many people considered him the most skilled fighter in all of the seven kindgoms was so awesome. Even at this stage in his life he took out 6-10 men by himself. Just makes you wonder how good he was in his prime

TimTakDoh

Hmm, Let's get one thing straight. Margaery never embraced Joffrey "psychoness". She was playing him, and she did it well....

McC

Wow I never realized how many small mentions in episode 4 become huge moments in the next 16 episodes

Brandon Tracy-Hurst

He was a known coward though, he hid with Gilly and the baby during the battle remember. It's not like him admitting it was breaking news.

ShittyShittyGameGang

Ikr ! I think she would be a good Queen

Elena de Haan

nah he executed him for insubordination. dude's head was on the block before ever admitting to cowardice. jon just wasn't swayed.

Louie Anderson

The High Septon who was in the brothel and the High Sparrows and soldier Sparrows are the same religion. The Sparrows are just a different faction of The Seven. And Jon executed Janus Slynt because he said he was always afraid - can't have a coward in the Night's Watch.

Crissi

Correct! Arya has to let go of her identity, her ego to become no one.

Crissi

Duck, Duck, GOOSE! ROTFL!

Robert Nelson

Looks like Sansa could use those mutant powers right now.

Jim Schmitz

You can't disobey and disrespect the Lord Commander so openly like that. Jon had to do it.

I'm really trying not to say anything that hasn't been said yet or implied. The first paragraph is just basic info but the rest is my opinion and take on Sansa and Jon and where they are at the moment. Sorry if you feel it's spoilers. I sometimes go too far in answering questions that come up.

Jessica Houser

Yeah… you go just a little too far in each these paragraphs. Some of this is spoiler-ish, or at the very least something mysterious they might’ve liked to figure out on their own.

Jared M

Bahahahaha "he's easy to kidnap" I had to stop the video..lmao

reijav

When you mix religion and politics trouble is inevitable, and that's all I have to say about that.

Peter K

It seems like Cersei is playing with fire with those Sparrow cultists.

Chris

lol damn Mr.O bringing me back to my childhood. I had the Holographic Charzard as a kid too, that card was too clean

If you like the Pokemon theme song...check out leo moracchioli and Frog Leap studios metal version. When I worked at Toys r Us I was in charge of the Saturday Pokemon games at my store. So needless to say I hated it lol https://youtu.be/AjSuZgNgMZc?si=oPZU8fwH-gXDKw5P

Janos Slynt as Lord Commander of the Gold Cloaks was supposed to back Ned and instead turned on him. His men helped the Lannister men and the King's Guard kill all of the Stark men and women at King's Landing except Sansa and Arya. Tyrion sent him to the wall because he couldn't be trusted by a Hand of the King. Jon probably never knew, but that beheading was a long time coming.

Sir_Dalagad

Janos also killed that baby girl at the brothel who was Robert’s bastard and he had no heart 😭 so i don’t feel bad for him. Also Shireen’s little face is so sweet! 😫 and it’s so hilarious when Mrs. October uses her “british” accent 😂

One thing I love about this show is how they have someone get revenge for something wrong done to a loved one. The person doesn’t even know they are getting revenge. Jon killing Janos was revenge for Janos betraying Ned. Ned was imprisoned and his men killed because of Janos betrayal. I believe that when Tyrion sent Janos to the wall he knew Jon would eventually deal with Janos. Especially because he was sent there for betraying Ned. And no leader in these times can have someone call him names and refuse orders. Jon had no choice. If he didn’t kill him no one else there would have respected him. There is no refusing an order or talking to the Lord Commander like that. Littlefinger thinks Stannis will be on the Boltons doorstep in two weeks. That is what his thought process was in leaving her there. Stannis is the greatest military commander in all of Westeros and he has an army 5x the size of the Boltons. Even though they are in Winterfell he believes Stannis will take the castle. Stannis would protect Sansa and treat her with respect because of his friendship with Ned. I hate little finger but that is what he was saying to Sansa. Loved the reaction!

Can we have a video of Mr. October doing the full Pokemon rap? lmao

Miguel Lugo

"Sansa stared hard at his ugly face, remembering how he had thrown down her father for Ser Ilyn to behead, wishing she could hurt him, wishing that some hero would throw him down and cut off his head. But a voice inside her whispered, There are no heros..." From one of Sansas chapters in the books about Lord Janos, the guy Jon beheads

Tezca

Badass episodes. Btw spear is not weapon of choice in small alleys. Tyrion the Dwarf and the Smaug(s).

John H

The parallels between Dany and Jon having to make a decision to implement law and authority even though they didn't want to do it. Both begged for mercy but Dany and Jon stood with Justice instead. And yes it also parallels to Robb.

Vishnu Vatheriparambil Mohandas

Ok....so hopefully without spoilers.....The place where Arya is at is called The House of Black and White. (Hence the black and white doors) It is a temple in Braavos dedicated to the Many-Faced God. It serves as the headquarters for the religious assassins, the Faceless Men, like Jaqen H'ghar. They're trained to relinquish their former identities and become "no-one" so that they're free to become anyone they need to be. (It alludes to this in the show but it doesn't say it outright) Littlefinger is obviously manipulating Sansa masterfully but keep in mind she's only 14 in the books...16 in the show at this point. She's naive and has yet to learn not to trust everyone. The scene where Jon beheaded Janos Slynt is a call back to Ned beheading the Nights watch deserter in Season 1. It parallels and shows how honorable both men are. It was obvious neither wanted to do it but both knew it was warranted for punishment. I honestly felt bad for Jon....he knew showing Janos mercy would rally any enemies he had to rise up against him and he had no choice. The rest of this season is an emotional ride....some of the things that happen will be the catalyst for huge changes. I can't wait to watch it with you guys! You're gonna LOVE it! Thanks for the reaction...you guys are awesome as always!

Jessica Houser

I will watch this when I get home from work, but had to drop in and say how much I like those shirts you guys are wearing!

Jared M

Gotta love it! Happy Wendsday Morning everyone!

Josh Viz

Margerie ain't evil. What an odd take. At worst she is ambitious.

Louie Anderson

yuo are too harvey!

Mr. October

Couldn’t of come at a better time for me. Legends
