Lord of the Rings: Return of the King Reaction!

Wow.... that's really the best word we have. This series was the most beautiful thing we have ever seen and it makes us so excited to get into GOT (can't compare it we know, but it just made us excited for it, OK lol.)

This trilogy literally was the HANDS DOWN BEST in our opinion but if you know of a better one, FORREAL let us know because we just may not believe you!

Shout out to the hobbits (the real MVP's), wizards, elves, dwarfs, Ent's and the army of the dead! If you're an Orc reading this... no one likes you, sorry!

Loved this ya'll! We really cannot give it enough praise!

PS if this link takes a minute to load it was 5 hours long... lol! If you watched the whole thing with us please let us know because you're a trooper and you deserve some love!

What was your favorite moment in the trilogy? We love the whole story but some notable parts were anytime our 9 guys were together, and anytime with Sam and Frodo!

Lord of the Rings quotes that we can't stop saying around our house:

"Mr. Frodo"

"Roast Chicken?!?!"

"Stupid Hobitses"

"YOU SHALL NOT PASS"

"My precious...." lol duh now that we know what it means!

"PO-TA-TOES"

"2nd breakfast"

"TreeBearrrrrrrd"

"Fly you fools"

The most memorable ones that really will be embedded in our brains but also deserve some credit:

"Not all who wander are lost" -Bilbo

"Even the smallest person can change the course of the future.” -Galadriel

“There’s some good in this world, Mr. Frodo… and it’s worth fighting for.” - Samwise the Brave

“The board is set, the pieces are moving. We come to it at last, the great battle of our time.” -Gandalf

“All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.” -Gandalf

....so many please leave your favorite one!

Lord of the Rings: Return of the King Reaction!

Comments

Thoroughly enjoyed this reaction! I saw the YouTube reactions, but figured I need to see the full reaction. These movies will forever be my favorites. Just amazing!

Angela

Hey. Is it possible to re upload the Lord of the rings series on Vimeo ? I initially become a patron so I could see that movie reaction but Google drive doesn't work on my phone :( please and thank you

Rudy

Did you know at the end of the movie when Frodo was laying in bed and Gandalf was in the room, that was the first time Frodo seen Gandalf since he fell at Moria!!!

Rudy

oh yeah i remember that she’s the neice now. i’m glad her and faramir got a happy ending!

Mr. October

that one will make us cry forever

Mr. October

Favorite line from the movies is when Aragorn gets the reforged sword. Elrond: "I give hope to men." Aragorn: "I keep none for myself." Also, Sam's monologues are great Quotes ya might hear around the house: "Finest weed in all the Shire" (even when it's a cigar lol) "I told you they was tricksy, I told you they were false" (or just "tricksy and false") "Nobody tosses a dwarf" (my wife is 4' 10" y'all and nobody is pushing her around) "...But it is not THIS day!" And of course "Second Breakfast" and "po-ta-tos"

Sir_Dalagad

My favorite line is also my favorite scene: "My friends, you bow to no one" Aragorn.

The flying beasts the Nazgul ride are referred to as “fell beasts.” Denethor (Faramir and Boromir's father) was not a bad man. He loved both his sons (including Faramir. But for years prior he had been using one of the Palantirs (the seeing stones), and in so doing Sauron poisoned his mind with lies and disinformation. Over time this drove him mad. And because Denethor is a Steward of the throne only, this also means Faramir is not heir to the throne of Gondor. That is Aragorn only. Eowyn is not Theoden's daughter. She's his niece, and Eomer is her brother.

MotoDork

we love you too!

Mr. October

I 🤍 Brony!

I couldn't be more pleased. This was a great journey with you guys. And did I detect some moisture in Tony's eyes? One comment you made that stood out for me is the acknowledgement of the power of the score. I felt the same. Just hearing that brings back all the emotions I had at first viewing. On the subject of "The Hobbit", if you love this one, you'll find much to enjoy there, too. Granted, it can't compare to the level of this for many reasons, but just to get back to Middle Earth can be enough. I don't know if you've been told, but Hobbiton was rebuilt for "The Hobbit" films as a permanent site in New Zealand and became a famous tourist destination. A couple of clarifications: Yes, Frodo's wound and the toll bearing the ring had on him resulted in his leaving to find healing and peace in the Undying Land. In the lore, Sam is allowed to join him at the end of his days. Eowyn's condition was a result of the contact she had with the Witch-King. (you see the scars on her sword arm as Aragorn treats her) Merry suffered the same when he stabbed him, too. They made it confusing in the film. In the lore, the 'King' was thought to have healing hands, so seeing Aragorn do this was another confirmation of his right to the throne. Thanks again, Octobers.

The one ring was created for mind control and to serve only sauron. It will influence the minds of those around them like boromir's scene, but it's purpose was to control those ring bearers who were given a ring of power. It evaporated the 9 minds of men so much so they became the 9 Nazgùl. That ring is like super drugs even sauron didnt think it was in the cards to destroy it, which is why the volcano entrance was left unguarded

Ben Felton

Them Elves have a unique perspective that leads them to the end decision of them death boats. Gendalf served his mission of his return as gendalf the white, leading him to join. And that ring is a topic to read in its own post just know the stab wound contributed to frodos decision

Ben Felton

I love that, that probably makes this so much more meaningful!

Mr. October

I have fond memories in 2003 of when i was pulled early from school just so we could see this in theaters
