art summary 2022

HELLO MY GEMLINS~!

I wanted to say HI one final time this year and figured I'll do it with this year's art summary that I haven't posted yet!

Once again I've attached all previous years (minus 2019) for your viewing pleasure, all the way back to 2010 LOL I always love looking back through the years, it makes me cringe but also happy to see the progress, hehe.

I don't think my art changed a lot this year, I feel like it got a little bit less round maybe 🧐 Which I'm perfectly okay with, I think it's not been going in a bad direction at least! I look back on all these pieces very fondly, and I still like all of them too! Which usually never happens, haha.
All in all I'd consider 2022 a success art-wise, I definitely had fun drawing most of the time, that's the most important thing to me~ 😊 My favourite months this year were probably November and December, drawing just felt right these last few weeks.

I'll be back very soon with a post to talk about my plans for 2023, of which there are quite a few but just as a heads up, there is the possibility that there COULD be some delays in January, because my PC randomly broke over Christmas, then suddenly started working again two days later but it's all a bit wonky and scary and I already ordered a new one (a custom build this time! 2 lovely gemlins in my Discord helped me out a lot with that! shoutout Mini + karock!! 💜), but it'll take a while until it gets here and while I'd like to keep working with my current PC until then, who knows what's gonna happen..... 💦 and also who knows if the new PC will work perfectly right away or maybe be borked from the start, too xD; (hopefully everything will be alright...)
But just so you're aware, in case things get very quiet here ; - ; I hope it won't happen.

Going into 2023 I wish all of you THE BEST and I want to thank you once again for supporting me and being so kind to me all the time, I hope to be able to give back more of that kindness in one way or another ; o ;)
