Hello my gemlins~ 💙

I'm still trying to fall back into a routine, so things have been a bit slow~ The work I did on the comic in the last few weeks was mostly colouring/rendering/lettering, but rarely any actual DRAWING and I felt like my muscle memory was slowly diminishing haha.

So I spent some time this week just drawing a few things, to get a feeling for it again. Jasper up there was a first doodle, that I spent way more time on than I usually would, but I always feel like re-teaching myself how to draw requires me to really pay attention to every single step of the process and to do it slowly so my brain can absorb all the information properly. It's also needed to remind my brain that I actually love and enjoy drawing, because that sometimes gets lost when I'm in "MUST GET THINGS DONE AS EFFICIENTLY AS POSSIBLE" mode, and that's never good, it just breeds frustration and art blocks.

So I'm happy to say I did enjoy drawing Jasper a lot, also playing around with some brushes and features just for fun :')

I'm still tired and busy with irl stuff, the last 2 weeks haven't been great but hopefully by the end of March most things should be sorted out~ Artistically, however, I do feel rejuvenated and I have more illustrations to show to you soon!
