It's a Cold

I always seem to catch a cold in December. I caught one at the end of the last week in December which has put a damper on my plans for the new year. 🤧

I've got 2 videos "finished" without voice-overs because my voice is still a bit tired. There's also a Podcast in the works that we haven't started for basically the same reason.

The Distro Delves episode I released on the 1st has done super well, far exceeding my expectations. I'm really happy with the video and I'm super excited to see everyone else is too!

Ever since I tweaked the video script, I can produce episodes pretty quickly. The most time-consuming parts are capturing the footage and editing it.

I used to somewhat dread doing voice-overs because since I would ad-lib them, I would have to get myself into the "zone", which isn't always easy to do. Now that I follow an outline for each episode, knowing what to say for each section is a thousand times easier and less stressful.

And lastly, for a non-YouTube related thing, I've had a surge of Twitter & Discord DMs lately. As a rule, I don't typically respond to Twitter DMs and only rarely to Discord DMs.
