Making videos isn't always fun
Added 2018-12-22 11:13:48 +0000 UTCI've had a few videos over the past years that were really frustrating to produce. My latest video on Pingus is a great example. This video was a pain because I had to play a bunch of levels to get enough footage for the review.
I don't like puzzle games and I didn't like Lemmings. So why review Pingus? Because it is a good game that has faded into obscurity. In many ways, it is better than Lemmings. Really, the only thing Lemmings does better is the levels. And maybe the music.
The other recent video I made that was a real bother to make was AWS DevOps with Terraform.
Coding videos are generally a hassle to make but this one was particularly troublesome. I had to re-record the same clips over and over again because of syntax errors, typos, and whatever else. Ugh that video was really frustrating to make!
But there will always be that video that is just a pain to make. Whether its the voice-over, recording footage, or editing, there always seems to be a problem somewhere. But I can say that I've never not done a video because it was too difficult to produce, so there's that!
