episode ignis WIP (SPOILER-Y)
Added 2017-12-13 23:06:07 +0000 UTCi'm gonna post this picture down in the post so that anyone who hasn't played it yet can decide if they wanna see it or not but this is something i have to get out of my system T _T) i played the DLC today and i died and then i got reborn and ignoct is real, everything hurts and everything is beautiful. what a rollercoaster of emotions.
i think no matter what you ship in ffxv, nobody can deny just /how much/ ignis loves noctis, in both verses he was ready to sacrifice everything as long as it meant noct would live. that's how i always thought he felt tbh, while he's so bound to his duty and promises and will stay by noct's side no matter what he does, ignis's priority over everything is always noct's life and safety, the rest of the world can go up in flames for all he cares. a life without noct is not a life worth living. I'M FEELING SO MANY THINGS !!!! square enix gave me everything i could have hoped for and more.
anyway, i took the day off for this and i regret nothing. work will continue tomorrow as scheduled, i was a bit afraid i'd be destroyed by ep ignoct for a week but it turns out i haven't felt this alive and good in weeks LOL;;
i hope i can finish it this week <3

yes, it felt like an official confirmation to something that we already knew and I'M SO UNBELIEVABLY HAPPY we got to experience it first-hand. i agree that he's a mirror to ravus, kind of!! which is why i was so excited when the trailer showed them together, I COULDN'T WAIT to see them team up and it broke my heart a little that ignis ended up having to fight him after all. but it was perfectly executed and resolved so i have zero complaints ;;;
