I really enjoyed working on the last chapter (s02ch02). I could really make as much content in it as I felt it needed to deliver the whole story I wanted to tell. I hope the chapter didn't feel rushed in any way.
The upcoming chapter is really ambitious (not sure if I'm using the word correctly), guys. Perhaps even larger than chapter 2 of season 2? Hard to say for now...
I think I settled on the title "Of Goblins and Elves".
Now for the poll...
Do you guys like the length of the latest chapter? It was by far the longest one I've made so far. Literally over two times larger than some of the chapters I've made in the past. Myself, I am very happy with letting chapters span as long as the story needs. Of course, the other option wouldn't be to rush things, but to split the upcoming chapters in say... 2 parts if they seem to be going as long or slightly longer than chapter 2 of season 2.
If you guys didn't get to play the chapter 2 yet. Don't worry, of course. This poll will be up for a while even after the public release of the chapter and I will only consider the results at around the Christmas break so that everyone had been able to vote by then :D

2024-11-07 16:30:21 +0000 UTCHaven't played it yet, but I doubt my opinion will change regardless. I don't have anything against long chapters. In fact, I quite enjoy them due to there being more content. Nothing's better than a story that takes as much time as it needs to PROPERLY lead up to certain events. IMO the overall quality of an avn improves a ton by simply having scenes make more sense in that way (not to mention, with enough build up, the impactful moments are that much more memorable and enjoyable) Edit: in case its unclear, I support unsplit longer chapters
