Rambo was maybe patient zero for whatever latched onto him, and each dog that disappeared was simply absorbed into the first host body. My guess is, once the thing finished with the dogs in town, it would move on to absorbing humans... maybe cats before that.

Also, the bit where everyone freaked out that the Mayor might have been kidnapped had me grinning maniacally. I love this town. I also love that June knows so much better than Frank when he should keep his mouth shut. Verge *does* make everything cooler just by showing up. "Plasma, actually." *so amused* (Did Rambo eat them all???) LEIF. LEIIIIF! Zomg, ohhh, ohhh! ....Now I want that breakfast! Still loving all the new characters, admiring the way Flat Doug and Celeste feed off each other's panic, and feeling for Frank the Unofficial Unelected Mayor. *loves it all*
