Xavier SFW Alphabet

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Xavier is extremely affectionate to friends and his one true love, Annika. He touches people often (as long as they are okay with it) be it a nudge to the shoulder, a slap on the back, a side hug. With Annika, he often holds her hand or wraps an arm around her waist.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

"Best Friend Xavier" is a giving, fun person. If he sees a rock, a flower, a bauble, etc, and if it reminds him of someone, he will get it and give it to them. He does this with no expectation for anything in return. He loves seeing his friends surprised and happy.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

In public and private, Xavier enjoys wrapping his arms around Annika from behind and nuzzling his face against her neck or in her hair. He holds her loosely, never wanting her to feel trapped, but his adoration is clear.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Yes yes yes. He was lucky enough to find his soulmate young, and he is desperate to marry her and spend his life caring for her. Cooking, dishes, housework - he'll happily do it all in addition to his teaching role. He wants Annika to have the easiest of times outside of the greenhouse.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

He would die before ending his relationship with Annika.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quickly would they want to get married?)

He is already engaged to the perfect woman :) nothing can go wrong :)

G = Gentle (How gentle are they)

Physically? Very. Almost too gentle at times, according to Annika.

Verbally to people who aren't Annika? ...Iffy. Sometimes he doesn't realize he's being blunt or rude. Sometimes he does and that's his intention. It's hard to tell the difference.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Xavier hugs Annika often. He wraps her up and presses his face against hers, her neck, in her hair, against her shoulder. Very clingy.

When he hugs his mother's, it's quick and perfunctory.

When he hugs [redacted], it's firm and meaningful, full of familial love

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

He said it to Annika when they were thirteen. He hasn't realized what he was feeling until she was too sick to join a class trip into town and he spent the whole time miserable without her.

He used to say it to [redacted] every time they parted ways. Now, he says it on their weekly phone calls.

He hasn't said it to his mother in a couple of years.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

He hasn't actually felt real jealousy. He and Annika are unshakeable and they both know it.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they want to be kissed?)

Xavier peppers Annika with soft kisses all the time - her cheeks, her neck, her lips. In private, one of his favorite things in making out with her. Simple but deep, pressed close.

He loves being kissed on his neck and cheeks.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Xavier doesn't mind children, but he's secretly a little glad that he and Annika can't have them. He wants Annika to himself. Things are perfect with just them :)

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Lazily stretching and snuggling in bed. He likes getting frisky in the mornings, taking a shower with Annika, and then making her breakfast. It's all very domestic, very cozy

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

After dinner with the others, Xavier will either walk the campus with Annika, look through the greenhouse or barns, and help her finish up any work she couldn't. Then it's home to a long got shower (together, he hopes), some dessert and a movie. Or music and dancing. Or a lot of sex.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

Xavier talks too openly and too much, honestly. He'll tell you his life story if you ask him to.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Normally he is extremely patient. It's hard to make him mad.

Unless you're his mother. If you're Deerly, you're 75% more likely to send him into a rant or rage than anyone else.

Q = Quizzes (How much do they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or forget everything?)

Most things, though Xavier does forget a lot of things that involve dates. He needs his phone to keep track of birthdays and anniversaries because days all blur into one for him.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

He hasn't met YOU ...yet? :)

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Xavier is very protective of those he loves. He would jump in front of a bullet for Annika or [redacted]. He doesn't really notice people who aren't in his immediate orbit though...

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

So much. He dotes on Annika and [redacted] on their special days. He will go above and beyond to plan a private outing or a big party depending on the event or mood.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

As mentioned, he tends to fixate on those in his orbit to the detriment of those outside it. While not done out of malice, or even intentional, he can come off as snobbish or elitist.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

He is a bit vain. He's good looking and knows it, so he accentuates his assets to give him an extra edge. He likes feeling pretty.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Nope! He doesn't even know you! ...yet?

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

If Xavier had met you instead of Kimberly, there is a chance that his affections for Annika might have been shaken if you tried...

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

Being messy or not caring for yourself. Bad smells. Someone who prefers smooth jazz to a good rock ballad.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs?)

During childhood sleepovers with Silas, they shared the bed. Xavier often ruined it by (supposedly on accident) forcing Silas to the floor with a well placed kick to the tailbone.

When sleeping with Annika, he is a clinger.

When sleeping alone, he sprawls.
