The world is ending, and no one else seems to notice except for you.
Your next-door neighbor of five years is suddenly three doors down and has no idea who you are. Not only that, but she seems to have a vendetta against your flower boxes.
Your dog's name isn't his name anymore. His paperwork says one thing, but your memory says something very different.
Oh. And he's a Chihuahua now?
Less concerning, but very perplexingly, all cars are white. All of them. Every. Single. Car.
It's a good thing you're a well-respected reporter, right? Who better to get to the bottom of this?
Well. It's probably someone with credentials. Which you somehow don't have anymore.
What you do have, however, is a mysterious trust fund and a lot of free time on your hands.
You decide the only logical course of action is to take yourself, Cooper the suddenly-a-Chihuahua dog, and your white car on a cross-country trip to interview the only people who seem to realize something fucked up is going on.
An unwilling thief.
An unlikely evangelical preacher.
A group of conservationist bikers.
A pop singer -turned- real estate agent.
And two sets of twins running against each other for the American Presidency.
