Darkwing Duck at the time was my absolute favorite super hero. I was, and still am, into Disney's Donald Duck universe, and Darkwing has always been my favorite aspect of it. This was also at the time when the Boom Studios comics were being published, and James Silvani's linework had a pronounced influence on me.
This was back when I was doing all my art with indian ink......on print paper. It was a disaster, and one premature touch of the wet ink meant endless smudges. I learned later how to properly ink. Something I really do wanna do more of.....man I love Inking.
