I always like the concept of 'buying' swapping being a commercial thing in stories. Either through the swap clinic or the underground body market but the recently I had an idea that expanded on that. What if there were auctions, dozens of men and women packed into a room while the person first modelled their body then had to watch as the bids went up across the room. Or people tuned in on a Saturday evening to see if they've won the body lottery. Like the method itself might just be a simple machine but it's not the reason 'why' swaps are happening.

Lot of great suggestions so far! The Press Switch-like broken artifact mad rush to find a new body could make for a fun new series. Seeing your take on the Alt Shift would be interesting too. I think a Magic Taxi series similar to the Remote's Journey where it's just different stories branching from who used the taxi last could be interesting. More Underground Body Market would be cool too. I don't really have an idea for a new method of swap for you, but the idea of seeing more caps of what happens after the swap, like weeks/months/years later would be interesting. Most of the swap caps focus on the immediate, it would be a different take to see a progression of the swap over a small series of caps, if that makes sense? Like what you did with the Thanksgiving series, but maybe more focused on less characters at a time so you don't have to create giant spreadsheets to keep track (although that series is fantastic!).

I really like this idea! Only suggestion would be to make it like Swap Island, instead of a Big Brother house b/c then you could use more pics in different settings.

I don't think I've ever seen something quite like this. A reality show similar to Big Brother, where a bunch of young and hot strangers are put on a house and filmed the whole time. Every week someone is eliminated (usually by viewer votes), but in this show they also swap bodies randomly every week. Then maybe the eliminated person keeps their current body? Or the winner gets to choose which body to keep? There are a few twists you can add.

I've heard of pre-shift caps but not the other. I always thought it would be a fun idea if someone knew the shift was coming and so they try to get themselves as close to the person they want to switch with to increase their odds of getting that body

I really like stuff like sci-fi and fantasy, whether it's someone being transported into another body in from the real world, or someone native to that setting being swapped or transformed. Some of my favourite caps include the Orc Hunters series and the Price of Power series 😊

Ones I really like besides the usual are pre-shift and alt shift concepts that some tg caps. Basically the preshift where the people know who they’re switching with in the great shift months or a year ahead of time. The other is where you have to live the life of the person you swapped with (forced by government or whatever)

I've actually been trying to make something like this for awhile now since it was done in Press Switch. Is that what you were thinking of or did Student Transfer do one too?

i like the event from a Student transfer scenario, there is a magic remote that can swap ppls bodies, but it breaks so everyones soul is ejected from their body (at least in a area around the remote), so then some ppl try to steal a better life than their own and stuff like that. :)
