What To Expect From Us

Hey everyone!

We've already shared this information on paid members' posts, but we thought it would be worth sharing publicly so everyone knows where we're at.

I will keep it brief here, but you can check out our recent development posts for more detailed information on everything.

Following our software change from Daz 3D to Blender, we've encountered more technical issues than we'd hoped.

We prepared a lot in advance, but due to a lack of understanding on my and Tae's part, much of what we've prepared needs to be improved.

Rather than explicitly working on the "next update," we are overhauling our processes to lay a solid foundation for the future. This involves enhancing all our created environments and assets, improving the character models, and streamlining our internal workflows.

We recently brought a new team member on board. Our original plan was to gain more of an advance with lighting to push out updates faster while reducing strain on our team member who currently does the lighting. However, we've since asked our new member to assist with asset optimisation. We're trying to ensure the team collaborates effectively to prevent duplication of effort and allow things to move faster in the future.

(Experimenting with Atlas enhancements - work in progress)

We will release the side paths over the coming months; however, with the abovementioned info, I won't guarantee monthly releases for the next few months as we have done for the last couple of years. We may go a few months without any releases, but then we plan to put out bigger releases than we do currently.

Our priorities have not changed; we are just taking the time to ensure everything is up to the highest standard rather than releasing quick updates with compromised quality.

We plan to complete the development of ACTC Season 1 and Realm 4 during 2025.

We have already started working on Realm 4. Almost all the environments are created, and we have begun posing the characters in them (no expression, no lighting – like a storyboard). However, now we need to go back and fix all the environments. We're not yet sure how long this will take us to complete.

(Work-in-progress environment)

(Blocked out Realm 4 scene previews)

In summary, updates will be slower for a little while. The aim is then to release better-quality updates at a steady pace again.

To do this, we need to ensure good workflows are established within the team, that our team is happy with their work, and that they are in good headspaces.

For those of you who have been around for a while you'll know how keen we are on regularly releasing new updates. It's frustrating for us to release slower for a while, but we assure you that the improvements we're making will be well worth it.

We'll still be just as active here and on our pages during our process overhauls, but if we don't release a substantial new game update for a few months, this is why.

We hope that seeing the improvements we've already made from the start of Realm 1 to the end of Realm 3 demonstrates our commitment to continually striving for better quality.

This is by far my favorite developers, this year will be a banger for sure with the new realm and the new game, so we can wait for sure if that's result in a better quality of the game, we all know that rush things ain't going to work always so take the time to learn what's you need and for me and at least most of this community we will wait the final product and be mind blowed for sure
