I’m so sick of individuals (and groups) defaulting to their personal trauma or historical trauma to justify ignorance and bad behavior. If you understand one side of trauma it should give you the opportunity to reflect and gain the wisdom to not repeat it. Such an excuse should be immediately dismissed, not out of a disregard for the experience but as a recognition of the inherent immaturity that line of thinking is indicative of. Former slaves didn’t go out and start trying to enslave people, they tried to get rid of the residual effects of the institution all together.

Countless businesses are owned by wives while the husband actually runs the business bc they get benefits out of it as a “minority owned company” or whatever and other companies are incentivized to do business with them bc they are required to do a certain amount of business with minorities. There are gender based incentives like this in just about every field in America. Anyways, theres not really any progress to be made at this point imo. It’s against the law and against social norms to hurt women, the people that break those laws are locked up and shamed by society. So what progress is there to be made in western feminism? All the hardships women face by men are outlawed and looked down upon by society now (in the west). They still happen but western laws and society does its best to protect women, so what even is western feminism at this point? Not defending these red pill dorks btw I hate all these guys.
