Update 3 - Behind The Scenes (The Seven Realms)

This was an important Update for me because we met Timeo! I wasn't sure that people would care about him, but I've had feedback from a few people that they really like his scene. His conversation with Atlas helps us understand a little bit more about what is going on and if we put the clues together, suspects of who is behind the attempted attacks on Leyala may emerge.

I am quite sad because I can’t really write more about this scene and the little clues I put within because it would probably spoil what's coming next. I am now known in our Discord server as the spoiler lady because the first time Jay let me speak in there, I mentioned something about a future update (only something minor!!) that I thought had already been mentioned in the story… So, for now, that’s all I’ll say about Timeo and Atlas’ convo!

Let’s talk about the bit you (at least the Leyala fans) were probably the most interested in. This update contained the first time Atlas and Leyala have sex, which is also Leyala’s first time ever! I tried to show him being affectionate and considerate with her. I don’t know if it was conveyed as much as I wanted it to be through the animations etc. If not, I am continually striving to improve. But yeah, they finally did it!

Leyala also speaks further about them opening their relationship. That’s a big step for her so they will take things a little bit slow at first.

You as the player, have the choice to reject the idea at this stage, say you would like to but need to find the right person, or you can suggest Tasha. Leyala is happy with all three choices. If you don’t select the Tasha option, then you will not be able to obtain a scene with her in a couple of updates time.

In my opinion, it was more than logical that the person Atlas would ask to do it with first would be Tasha. Both Leyala and Atlas trust her. She won’t catch any feelings or be awkward after it happens. Perfect.

However, I understand that a lot of players may be uncomfortable sleeping with Tasha or may want to do a monogamous playthrough with Leyala, which is why I gave the option to reject this early.

I also wanted to show a bit more of the friendship between Atlas and Zyair. I know that some people don’t really care about relationships outside of the Love Interests or the Harem Members, but for me, it’s also important to show that the main characters have a life on their own and other meaningful relationships.

Technical aspect:

The scenes in the interrogation room were a nightmare to pose and render because of how heavy the assets I used were.  I didn’t change them because I didn’t have the time to do so, and they were the only ones I found that could match what I wanted. I really can’t wait to be comfortable with Blender to create my own assets (or to be able to pay someone to create them). Sometimes it’s frustrating to search DAZ libraries for hours to not find something that matches what I have in mind.

And the lighting… When I first rendered them, at some point the lighting on Atlas just changed mid-scene. I had accidentally moved something else in the scene and I saw the difference in the images once they had all been rendered. I quickly managed to re-render the relevant images, which was a bit of a pain and delayed things a bit, but fortunately, I was in a good place and was able to keep on schedule.

Now the real question is...did you rip out Dan's tongue or not?
