Furlandia!
Added 2019-05-28 20:51:45 +0000 UTCI had the absolute BEST time this last weekend in Portland at Furlandia. My BFF Frances "Yote" McKeever was artist Guest of Honor, and my other BFF "The Dadger" (Wolfmage/Stormdancer) decided to come out too so I just HAD to go. I flew out with all my stuff (shipped most of it) and set up in the dealer's den.
Magey-butt finally got his mask, and got to wear his partial for the first time at this con. I had to do some adjusting with it, but I think we may have finally gotten the fit right.
Everyone was soooo nice! I got to meet a lot of fellow artists and fans, including Makenna who made me this adorable drawing of my Bolf self. <3
I just had to get some hugs in after a gift like that (if you ever meet me I looove hugs)
I also got to meet up with Jaimé Sidor, who I haven't seen since 2003, and had just an awesome evening with her. She is such a sister to me, and I miss her and her art. We drew in each other's sketchbooks and I have never been so happy <3
I did a lot of sketching for others myself at the con, and was so very happy to be able to make some treasures for others.
Outside of the con my friends and I discovered the McMenamins chain, thanks to the suggestions of WolfShaman and Jaimé. Sooo much good food and drink was had all weekend with incomparable company <3

I am completely in love with Portland now, and this great little con. I hope to be able to come back next year and do it all over again!
