Occupational Hazards Episode 1 On Steam

As of earlier today Occupational Hazards Episode 1 has been approved for release on steam! So here is a little information regarding that~

First of all the store page for those interested can already be viewed here
The planned release date is April 24th, and the price is set at $2.99

While the primary reason for the steam release is the potential of reaching a wider audience I ended up making it a paid product to offset the submission fee that steam charges to make a gaime available, and I'm hoping the pricepoint I picked is a fair one.

That said, given that there is a cost attached to owning Episode 1 on steam there is a few things you should all be aware of before deciding whether or not to purchase it.

Version 1.0.3 of the game is and always will be available for free on newgrounds, for the time being the free version and the steam version are functionally the same. The unfinished image for having coffee with Eva, as well as the images for the nanobot encounter with the research station have been replaced in the steam version, otherwise everything is the same between the two. 

It is admittedly unlikely to happen, but should there come a time when more content is added to Episode 1, that will be added exclusively to the steam version. The free version will not be updated past it's current version.

Furthermore; 100% of the money graciously donated through patreon has and will continue to be spent on purchasing assets for the continued development of Episode 2, as oposed to any proceds from steam sales of Episode 1 - those will make for my first personal payout since the project started~

With that said I hope everyone gets a good idea of whether or not purchasing Episode 1 on steam is worth their money - I don't expect a whole lot of sales, but I'm hoping for the best. So if by chance you'd like to officially own a copy of the game that started this weird wonderful journey, and throw a couple of bucks my way in the process I'd be honoured^^
