Pages 50-58 Update/WIP

My comic updates always come with life updates too, huh? I was hoping I'd have everything done for the end of the chapter today, but unfortunately no matter how willing to draw I am, I have to be very careful of the amount of time I spend doing so. I hurt my back pretty bad working on this chapter back in in April- if I spend more than 5 hours drawing it gets agitated again.

The last two updates I talked about aspects of life that have been slowing me down; not just in art but in all regards. And of course, more of those things have happened. Last month I got diagnosed with ADHD (good) and then a few weeks ago there was a death in the family (not good, but im ok) I also came to terms with the fact that the level of emotional strain my job entails was not sustainable at all and was pushing me to burnout. I did get scouted for an office position that starts next Tuesday. I'm excited, but I will once again have to re-establish a routine. The amount I've had to do that since 2020, I've pretty much got it down.

A N Y W A Y.... when I DO get the time to draw I've really been enjoying it! I wish I'd been able to keep track of the total time these pages took; I've been getting pretty efficient, but I have to prioritize a lot more than drawing right now so it's been taking more actual days to get done than I anticipated. Someday I'll learn to lower my expectations for myself back down to humanly-achievable levels. Until then I'm going to hazard that I will actually finish all this up sometime before my birthday mid-March. I hope the impact of the end of the scene isn't lessened by the WIP status. Pages 56-58 still need some work before I can queue it up, dialogue will probably be tweaked ect etc etc...

GOD am I ready to get back to drawing the sex parts
