[Open Letter] // Stress, Expectations and My Undying Appreciation to You

Hello again, it's always nice to talk to you. I really do enjoy our time together. :)

I always try to keep things light and positive, and to be honest, I was very hesitant to write this, but I think being open with you is the best for both of us.

So it really might not seem like it... But I do work on this project everyday. Not because of obligation but because I love doing this... It's my dream to make games and you don't know how amazing it feels to have someone like you literally making that dream come true. Like... that's beyond generous.

That's why I try sooooo hard to make it up to you. I understand that money is never easy to come by (especially in these times) and that's why it hurts me so much to think I can't give back to you what you deserve.

As someone with a full-time job and part-time student on the weekend, I have to sacrifice (at least) 48hrs a week to survival, which leaves me with whatever is left for sleep and working on projects. 

And that's why I'm always filled with anxiety at the end of the month when I feel like I haven't met your expectations... due to lack of time, burnout and just being physically unable to keep up. It's why I've paused the Patreon multiple times in the past, because I really do care that you're happy.

Which brings me to my point... I want to know what your expectations of me are and what makes you happy.

I know some of you are here to see progress on the project and expect to see new content coming in. Which is great to know that you're interested in what we're doing and always motivates me! And then there are some of you who literally support just 'cuz you want to... which is like... holy crap I seriously don't deserve you... That is beyond beyond generous...

Between those two sides, it's hard for me to gauge what is right. So that's why I have a poll below that will help me understand what you expect.
