You asked about Inara and the syringe and needle she had as the reavers passed by. You logically guessed this was a way for her to commit suicide. Without giving anything away in the series, it was not for that purpose. Believe it or not, the purpose could be considered even darker than her suicide. This series will take you to all sorts of places, some dark, some light and funny and so much more. Enjoy the show.

The greatest attention to detail in this series is that you do not hear anything happening in the dead of space. We’ve been spoiled for so long by hearing gunfire and engines that we’ve gotten used to it. Here, it’s a brilliant detail that’s I fell in love with! As much as we thought of Kaylee enjoying the strawberry, Jewel Staite actually doesn’t like strawberries. Looking forward to the adventures of the crew of Serenity!! “I aim to misbehave”

2023-12-13 13:35:48 +0000 UTCThe biggest reason Firefly was cancelled was Fox. They aired the episodes out of order and kept moving the time slot around. It's amazing the show had any following at all with the treatment Fox gave them.

Greed, politics, ego etc. ended it way too early and just was about to become even better! A show with so much to offer will be cut short. Same thing as just recently happened to the Orville. It makes me at least, sad.

"Well... that'll be an interesting day." "I imagine it will." First time watching it, gave me chills. Still does. And its awesome how you are so in tune with who Mal is and how he thinks that you already finish his sentences for him. They're still flying. It's enough.

I know that this topic has been beaten to death many times over the years, but it remains such a crime that Fox ignorantly canceled the series after only 14 episodes! 🤬
