Clone Wars Episode 414 (081) *FULL LENGTH REACTION

Hey friends, bonus Sunday Clone Wars episode!!!

And oh boy is this one juicy!  I love me some Mandalore, because I know there is a show called Mandalorian, so I'm super excited to learn more about everything Mandalore related!!!

I love seeing the Dark Saber, it looks just so cool!  The movement and animation of it is great to see.  Also, the animation for this episode really felt like a 10/10.  I love seeing combat sequences because they do such a good job at it!

This is not the last time we see Lux though, since he and Ahsoka are bound to meet up again.

Random thought, I hope we see Boba Fett again.  We saw him brought to Coruscant, and I know he's walking around in the Original trilogy, so he clearly gets released/breaks out at some point.

For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the episode.  Also know there is an extension that allows you to do Picture-in-Picture in case you are interested: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/picture-in-picture-extens/hkgfoiooedgoejojocmhlaklaeopbecg?hl=en

I hope you're ready for 4 episode arcs starting next week!!!

Ok I thought he looked familiar, and sort of assumed it was the dude from the first Mandalore arc, but never would I have remembered his name. I didn't know he was voiced by Jon Favreau, that's pretty neat!! I know Jon Favreau voiced a character in Solo. This is what I love about Clone Wars, every episode/arc has the chance of seeing previously seen characters, or new ones. It changes so it makes the series very binge watchable lol

We've seen Pre Vizsla before. He fought Obi-Wan in the first Mandalore Arc back in Season 2, so it's been a while. Looks like Dooku gave him a scar, and maybe a haircut? I don't remember if anyone brought it up before but he's voiced by Jon Favereau, the writer for the Iron Man Movies and he also portrayed Happy Hogan, Tony's Bodyguard, in them. The Mandalorian Lady with the y shaped visor that Ahsoka fought in the end is credited as Bo-Katan. She's voiced by Katee Sackhoff who's played a number of roles, like Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica. So that's pretty cool. I really liked the snowy environment of Carlac in this one and seeing Lux Bonteri again.

There's something amazing about animation that just can't be done with live action. I would love more Star Wars animated series!! It's also why a lot of times the live action remake of animated series just doesn't really do that well (I'm looking at you Disney!!)

This is another episode with the animators really just showing off what they can do with these dark environments. The fight in the snow, with three colors of sabers striking against each other, as well as the choreography, I think was just all top tier

Wiping the memory sounds familiar. Definitely something that I'll pick up and remember better upon my rewatch! Thanks

It's a cross between the Death Star and the Night's Watch, clearly 🀣

People are just too excited to share information they have, so it does ruin some things, sadly :( I'm glad that Lux is learning a few things, that he doesn't trust blindly and he's learned that Death Watch are not what he thought they were. Thankfully Ahsoka was there for him 😂

At end of episode 3 Bail Organa claim R2 and 3po to work under Admiral Motti. Bail also tell him to wipe 3po memory. Admiral Motti was the guy that Vader choke to death at the beginning of episode 4.

Verowak, you have no idea how happy this surprise Clone Wars made me - thanks for that! <3 "Death Star, Moon..?" sounds about right when trying to remember the name of Death Watch 🀣

Damn Ahsoka and Lux need to get a room haha, Lux already had the Taser ⚡🀣 But this is definitely one of my favourite Stand-alone episodes, Ahsoka is awesome and Death Watch are Awful people but still cool lol, Ahsoka having a potential love interest is an interesting idea. I definitely have much Respect for Lux, he made a mistake and realized he screwed up big time in the end, though having their mother murdered would make anyone bloodthirsty, and he's still smart enough not to trust the Republic. Also that's a Bummer to hear that you've heard the whole thingy about 'Ahsoka' Series being nicknamed "Rebels: Season 5" 😅 but it's the internet I guess lol
