Band of Brothers Episode 2 *FULL LENGTH REACTION

I have to hand it to Steven Spielberg, he is really great at making very stressful, tense and terrifying scenes/episodes/movies!!
I find it hard to recognize which character is what at times (especially when it's dark), but there are a few stand out characters in this. I read that it was based on actual events and from accounts of people that were actually there (as we can see by the interview scenes in each episode).
I love how British actors are just so damn good at American accents, not only in this series, but there are so many times where British actors are picked for roles in which the directors want "a real American accent".
Seeing all these war movies/tv series, you really get to see an ugly side of humanity, and just how much some people went through in their lives.
I'm ready for the rest of the season to be intense, edge of your seat action, and devastating events.

2023-11-08 22:38:47 +0000 UTCI feel like we're getting some hints of who the vets are, but not all of them. Then again, I will need to rewatch the episodes to remember better lol. Crickets makes sense, and great to have instead of saying "Flash" every time and possibly notify enemies of their presence!

2023-08-08 17:28:24 +0000 UTCLove watching your reactions to this mini series.....there are so many comments I'd love to make, but I don't want to spoil any of the upcoming episodes. One thing I can tell you is at the end of the episode 10 those vets you see at the beginning are revealed. Also as a companion piece there is part 11, "We Fight Alone".....it is also definitely worth the watch. One of the things I saw you comment on early in the episode were the devices they used to help signal other paratroopers. They were called crickets with one click being answered by two clicks....that and "Flash" and the response "Thunder".
