I've decided to keep this one on Patreon only for now, I'm super busy with work and school, plus the first episode didn't do well on YT at all. I will eventually edit the rest of the season for YT when I have time, but I won't be rushing to get it out the following day.
Lots of stuff happening, but I'm honestly not in like with this show. I was very excited for it when it was announced, but something about it hasn't really tickled my fancy too much yet. Perhaps it's because I started seeing it as being similar to Obi-Wan Kenobi series, where he starts off down in the dumps and emotionally/mentally affected by a past event, and this series will be how he gets back to normal?
I'm definitely not as invested in Nick Fury as I was with Obi-Wan 😂
There are some interesting things that are happening, so I'll be watching the rest of the season in hopes that I get into the Marvel groove or something. If it turns out G'iah was actually trying to help her father in episode 1, I will be mildly irritated because there's no way she didn't know those bags were empty!
It seems that Maria's death is an actual death, and not a fake death, which is very unfortunate :(

I do like how this is a way more serious Marvel story than what we've been getting lately. Really seems like a slow burn, I'm just impatient 😂

2023-06-29 13:33:57 +0000 UTCPersonally loving this show so far and appreciate them pushing the PG-13 rating, assuming it's PG-13, Rated TV-14 just looked it up. Also giving off massive Agents of Shield vibes as well more so the later Season. I think its going to be one of those slow burns similar to Andor where you're not 100% sure what to think until the third episode. Personally would've preferred if they released the first two episodes like Andor as well as there two tie nicely together. I didn't see the Obi Wan comparison myself, reminds me of an old James Bond trying to get back in the game or even an older Batman similar to Frank Millers The Dark Knight Returns. But yeah so far I'm loving it, prefer the writing and action of this series as well over Obi Wan and I loved the scene between Rhodes and Fury, need more of this in the MCU.
