YAY!!!!! This episode kicked ass!!
There was everything in this episode! Obi-Wan, Anakin, General Grievous, CLONES!!!
Again, I just love how much Obi-Wan and General Grievous know each other. I love seeing them know something is up because "it's not like him" to do X. I like to think that they would be great friends if they were on the same side.
Having the clones play an integral part of the conflict and episode brings my joy. Though it's really sad when the ones you like end up dying π
Seeing Echo and Fives was exciting, though I worried for them when they were in combat.
So far these standalone episodes have been captivating and exciting... will it be 3 for 3? Tune in tomorrow for the final standalone episode for this week!
No spoilers about anything that happens in future Clone Wars episodes, or anything regarding Mandalorian, Book of Boba Fett and Ahsoka. I love not knowing what to expect and being surprised.

2023-06-17 13:43:30 +0000 UTCI think Obi-Wan and General Grievous is one of my top 3 relationships in Star Wars. It's great seeing them interact every time, and it will be even better in Episode 3!! Yes, and Echo and Fives did so good!! I always want more Clone focused episodes, it's so nice seeing how they view things.

2023-06-16 18:21:39 +0000 UTCObviously a lot of things that happen in Clone Wars give you a different perspective on rewatching Episode 3, but you touched on one of them which is the Obi and Grievious relationship. Puts a new perspective on Obi just casually dropping in on him in Episode 3 and Grievious is just not phased. Also Obi is prepared for Grievious and his many arms by that time. Only two domino squad members left. Feels like forever ago we lost heavy. It was cool seeing Fives and Echo going back to Kamino and they actually looked and sounded happy, which we don't see too often for the clones in the show, being that they're always fighting a war. It's a nice nostalgia trip for them as a break in the fighting.
