*UNEDITED REACTION* for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

EARLY UNEDITED VIDEO!!  I know it's a Thursday, so surprise!  Usually I have these up on Friday, but as this is the finale, here is an earlier release for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

I will be having a Premiere on YouTube for the edited reaction Saturday Sep 3 @ 9am EST/ 3pm CEST for those interested.

This movie was just overall great.  Sure there are some parts that weren't to my liking, but having Neville do stuff, and seeing Professor McGonagall there too!  It was a rollercoaster of emotions and the music was simply epic.  I still have lots of questions but, I expect that's what the books are for

Reminder that for this type of content, you do need your own copy to follow along.

Happy first day of September, and where I am it's safe to say... Winter is Coming.  As always, thank you SO much for your support! <3

I eventually got to that conclusion :D Needed some thinking though. I wish they would have explained the patronus a bit more, since it feels like the Snape revelation for the doe would have been more meaningful in the movies :D

To explain your confusion on the horcruxes, Voldemort intended to "split his soul into 7 pieces." This means, his soul - and 6 horcruxes. Of course, ironicially- there ended up being 7, as of course Harry was an accidental horcrux. Diary Ring Locket Cup Diadem Nagini Harry (kinda) Also regarding the patronus. They are conjured through happy memories. And patronuses are known to change depending on memories. For example, Harry's dad was a stag- same as his animagus form- and Harry's mum was a doe, since they were soulmates. However, since Snape was so in love with Lily his patronous became a doe like hers. Also, there was a 6 month gap between the wedding and final battle. Hence why Remus and Tonks kid was born already. I imagine she was 4ish months pregnant at the wedding when she was announcing it. The baby (Teddy Lupin) ended up being basically a newborn when he lost his parents, which was I think meant to be a parralel to Harry's parents dying when he was a baby.

I think so, yeah! I was thinking of doing Fantastic Beasts first, but I'll do the 20th anniversary special before that, since I found out that's a thing!

I assumed one was Grindewald, but it was hard to get a good look at the character since it was very brief... and I found that at quick glance it looked a bit like Ollivander, so I started getting confused. I know Fantastic Beasts has a movie called Crimes of Grindewald, so I assumed he's a bad guy lol

That's very interesting, definitely did not get that from the movies. So it seems like there's no set rule, it's just whatever the wand decides, IF the wand is prone to change allegiance or not. That clears things up a LOT! I'm still not a fan of the disarming thing, but it is what it is. Thank you!! I'm assuming this is explained in the books, so I'll eventually learn this :D

Are you going to watch the 20th anniversary special on HBO max?

Now about why Dumbledore had the Elder Wand in the first place: Dumbledore defeated Grindelwald (the last big Dark Lord) many years ago. And he had the wand, so when Dumbledore defeated him, the wand became his. Grindelwald is the old man Voldemort goes to visit in prison in this movie, to ask him where is the wand (he is in prison since Dumbledore defeated him). About Dumbledore being burried with his wand, thats whats usually done. And the thing is very few people knew Dumbledore wand was actually the ledendary wand known as The Elder Wand, as not many people believe the deathly hallows even exist.

About the wands: Every wand has its own "personality" you can say... so thats what they mean when they say "the wand chooses the wizard". The wands have the habilty to change their allegiance when they feel their master does not deserve to be their master anymore. Thas why Ollivanders said, at the beginning of the movie "this was the wand of Draco malfoy" Then harry asked him "was? Is it not still his?" And Ollivanders responded "perhaps not, if you won it from him. I sense its allegiance has changed". So, ultimately, its the wands choice who they want to serve. There are wands who are always loyal to their first master, and there are wands that "change their minds" whenever their master is defeated. The Elder wand (the powerful one) is known to change its master every time its last master is defeated. You dont need to kill its master, just defeate it (althoug Voldemort thinks the way you have to kill someone to defeated. Its his mistake) So, when Draco disarmed Dumbledore, and left him defenceless, he defeated him, and the wand became his. Until the previous film, when Harry disarmed Draco, and his 2 wands (his regular one and the Elder wand) sensed their master was defeated and became harry's wands.
