The end of a franchise
Added 2022-08-21 17:00:19 +0000 UTCNow I know technically the Fantastic Beasts movies are in the Harry Potter universe, but I count that as a separate storyline altogether.
That being said... I'm heading into the final 2 movies and I can say that I am SO glad I started watching these. First of all, the Potter community is just great, so many people are really into this universe, and it's so great to see that!
Having watched these, I'm even more excited to read the books to get more information about my favorite characters like Snape, and Neville and just seeing which other characters will become some of my favorites.
That being said, Fantastic Beasts will be my next movies to watch once I finish the 8 Harry Potter movies, since I might as well stay and complete the universe.
I'd love to get to know everyone here a bit better, in case you feel like sharing something about you, and what other movies you really enjoyed!
P.S. I'm thinking of doing a premiere on YT for Deathly Hallows part 2, to chat and hang out!

I personally love unique films! Movies that have a twist or a unique storyline or delivery are great. It's why I love most of Christopher Nolan's films. My goal is to not look at trailers or summaries of any movie that I will be watching for the channel. I would much rather go in with no information than get anything spoiled. I will definitely want to do standalone titles, not strictly series or popular movies. I think series is easier to get the channel up and running for the time, but I will start throwing in some standalones shortly. Also welcome!!!

2022-08-23 14:59:11 +0000 UTCI've only *just* subscribed and am looking at posts. I've personally not watched 'Fantastic Beasts' yet, and would avoid a reaction until I do - but support you watching whatever you believe interests you, or draws the most attention from others. (I'm going to lose most every poll on what draws attention from others, maybe I'm just stubborn, but I like things that are unique [and therefore won't watch all 50+ movies in the Marvel series... {jokes, but not jokes}]) I'm also hesitant to encourage you to look at trailers or summaries, at risk of spoiling good movie plots... It will be up to you how you proceed. I have recommendations, but they will always be standalone titles - and not a series or the 'most popular' movie of our time.

2022-08-22 00:20:52 +0000 UTCOh I forgot about the Narnia films! I've never seen those and know basically nothing except there's a world in a closet? I think there's something about a lion, witch and a wardrobe now that I think of it

2022-08-22 00:20:24 +0000 UTCI'm loving your hp reactions so much, it never gets old watching someone discover Potter for the first time! Don't know if you've seen them before but I'd love to see you react to the Disney Narnia films one day I think you'd like them! π
