2025-10-29 21:53:01 +0000 UTCEsil was always one of my favorites. Esil is #1 waifu candidate. I was impressed with Anna's thinking outside of the box about the gates and monsters. When S3 comes around it should resolve a lot of missing pieces of information. Think S4 episodes 1-6 of AoT. The comment that was made about an external force helping the humans is fairly enlightening also. Think of it this way, 10 years ago was the first gate. The humans seemed to figure out a lot of shit extremely quickly, including things like mana readers, uses for mana crystals, making weapons/armor from monster parts, and classification of hunters. Doesn't seem possible without help, if you compare it to natural success that humans in earth's history have achieved.

It’s a blink and you miss it line in this awesome fight, jinwoo mentioned his investment in strength and I was kinda confused how he was suddenly able to rip the demon monarchs arms off with rulers hand. I believe, jinwoo had unspent skill points just for a situation like this, where a stat might be most important and he can’t always predict what that stat might be, so in that moment he dumped them into strength to give rulers hand a bonus and the edge in this fight. I love tactically smart characters, I think he learned this from the job change quest with the mages, he didn’t foresee them and didn’t upgrade the stat needed to counter them, so now he has some points on stand by for cases like that
