AFO was a horrible person but I really think he is the toga scenario on steroids. Toga just wanted to drink blood and was forced to mask until she broke. Since it’s been a theme of “how does your quirk effect you as a person” I wonder if like togas want to drink blood, if AFO (the quirk) predisposed AFO (the person) to want to take quirks, combine with a nasty combo of no parents, a mom who drank with them in the womb, and growing up during a time so chaotic the only thing that compares is the current war. Just like toga, I wonder if they could’ve been helped if they grew up with kinder parents in a kinder society

Really shows how strong AFO was then, he didn’t even touch his brother, he grabbed the collar of his shirt. AFO was angry in that moment, so what must have been a muscle twitch for him was enough to blow his brother to pieces
