Watching Ben going from despondant to overjoyed in the frame of a few minutes was certainly a highlight of this episode. Re:Zero truly likes playing with our feelings.

It's a shorts series that aired right after the show of re zero in japan that expands on re zero lore and gives a lot of side stories that are happening in the background. It really gives you a lot of cool hidden context and they are all shorts so doesn't take time to watch.

I know they don't read comments so I'll write down how I feel this would have unfolded: 1) This looks familiar... wait, isn't it the same font and animation as used in Frozen Bonds? 2) Does it means that, back in Frozen Bonds, it was Echidna telling Puck by which rules he should live? 3) Does this mean Puck was created by Echidna? 4) Since Betty refers to Puck as "brother" and she also has an unknown "mother" could it possible mean that... Mother = Echidna? And Puck is actually her brother, since they were both created by Echidna? I was sad Ben never mentioned it again in the discussion, I'm sure they would have been able to make the connections
