I am back from Berlin! I think my body's response to getting a tattoo is to sleep - I haven't slept this much in YEARS! Apart from that I feel absolutely fine so far, just unbelievably tired.
I love the tattoo so much! For anyone who hasn't seen it yet, I got a Hollow Knight x Zelda tattoo.
I had planned to get a Bloodborne x Mononoke tattoo but we switched out last minute haha, will probably go back to that idea later!
That said, I haven't filmed anything this weekend - I ended up having to stay at a friend's in London to make my flight as my car failed my MOT last minute loooolll, Walton has been chewing my seatbelts! But I have some videos recorded and I will see how fast I can get them edited and out next week for you 😊 I have one that isn't Subnautica... Going to need your honest opinion on that one because I have no idea if anyone will be into it and want to see more!
I have been reading the Wise Man's Fear during my travels, has anyone read the Kingkiller Chronicle?! No spoilers please! But I have absolutely loved it so far. I won't recommend anyone to read it if you haven't yet because the third book hasn't come out and it's been over a decade lollll. If I had to wait a decade for Silksong I think I would spontaneously combust.

2023-02-26 20:51:48 +0000 UTCLove your tattoo! I love Rothfuss' writing style in The King Killer Chronicles, just wish he'd get his head on straight and finish the series. But...he's a twitch streamer and a lot of it goes to charity, so it's hard to knock him for his life choice. I also don't feel it helps him to receive so much flack from fans and media, simply because he works best when not under pressure and doesn't have to take things seriously. So I think everyone harping on him to finish the series is a direct obstacle for him to do so. Sadly, and ironically. The books are still very enjoyable, even book 2.5 "The Slow Regard of Silent Things". You can definitely enjoy the books, even while they're not finished. :)

I'm also a huge Zelda fan as well so the crossover is a lovely one. Watching your series on HK was a blast, for sure.
