Here's Page two!! Very happy to get the ball rolling on this project once again, especially now with this page out of the way the "set up" of this comic's little story is done. That means now we get to the fun part- and things are only going to get more exciting and far more explicit for our late night proxy. (˵ ¬ᴗ¬˵)
The lighting for this page was quite the beast to tackle; especially with just how different Nicole and Belle's rooms seem to be lit up with the former having cold colors while the latter has warm colors. Trying to put both settings in the dark- but not too dark- and making sure that the different tones of colors (blue/green vs yellow/brown) didn't split the page in half with visual whiplash was... harder than I thought it was going to be but hey at the end of the day working on things that are difficult is the best way to improve! 'w'b
I also think it's painfully clear I have a lot more practice with Belle's room than with Nicole's lmao, but hopefully we can go to the base of the cunning hares here soon-ish so I can take better and far more detailed reference photos. (˶˃ᆺ˂˶)

Changing the hour in the comic to be 5 AM was actually a suggestion from a good friend of mine due to my own insomnia- so I can relate to both you and Belle in this. (っ˶ ˘ ᵕ˘)ˆᵕ ˆ˶ς) Thank you though! I'm glad Belle's room looks comfy and that the colors between the bedrooms didn't clash with one another!! I'm especially glad that the glowing effect from her phone came out well; as it was a hassle to try and balance out how bright that effect should be with the rest of the darker piece. I always love the reminder that Belle is a bruh girl ꉂ(˵˃ ᗜ ˂˵) Good gawd though she looks exhausted, is she playing Bangboo TD all night instead of sleeping? Go to SLEEP girl. Maybe she has insomnia? I can relate. I'm so envious of Belle's room. It always feels so comfy! Not too sure about wearing those earrings to bed though. You did a great job conveying the different lighting in Belle's room vs Nicole's without any sort of clash! I particularly appreciate the subtle lighting on Belle's face from her phone.
