NicoleBelle Comic Full First Draft

I hope everyone is doing and keeping well!! As I type this I can see the above preview and it's so funny to just be able to blatantly tell which page I spent the most time working on. Page 8 and 6 are my favorites tbh, especially since the latter contains the universal emotion of dancing around your room when you get a cute/hot selfie from a crush. Drawing it cracked me up. ꉂꉂ(ᵔᗜᵔ*)

Here's all ten pages roughed out!! I forgot how time consuming making long form comics can be but at the same time I also namely forgot just how fun it is to get absorbed in the process. Trying to figure out what goes on each page, plotting out the story/pacing, as well as mentally posing the camera angles only to try and convey that on the canvas is a nice and enthralling challenge; so I hope it came out well! (..◜ᴗ◝..)

Regarding the feedback I heard with that last post (not the poll) I did my best to make sure there was more than just one page of the two of them "having fun" but admittedly that meant I had to rush the ending a little bit— but I think that works for the pacing in all honesty because Nicole is meant to be portrayed as scrambling to get over to meet up with Belle towards said end. ( ᵕᴗᵕ)⁾⁾

I plan to spend the next upcoming weeks working through this comic with the goal of one page being done a week, maybe two depending on the sequence of things but we shall see. By then that poll should be finished and at the halfway mark I can draw the winning idea and share it exclusively here! After this project however I plan to get back to get back to doing those weekly sketches until I've drawn at least one character per faction since I no longer feel like I'm teetering on the edge of burn out. ( ◡̀_◡́)ᕤ
