Life Returning to a Tainted Forest

This month's track request poll was won by patron Greg Brunell with his suggestion "Life Returning to a Tainted Forest." I went back and forth a bunch of times on how I wanted to tackle this. If I started the track with a "corrupted" section, it would be super awkward when you looped back around to it. That is: if you wanted to play this song when the forest became uncorrupted, after 3 minutes, it would sound like it was corrupt again. As such, I decided to do two tracks: a quick orchestral flourish that you could play in a VTT at the moment of rejuvenation, and a full track that is lush and vernal to underscore your newly revivified woods.

That little orchestral SFX is titled "Unwither" and it's cheesy as heck! I was inspired by the music of Okami (which features a few "rejuvenating forest" sequences). That said, if you want Okami music... man, just to listen the Okami OST! "Unwither" is less Eastern and more "cartoony" for lack of a better word.

The full track "Blossom" is a more fittingly calm tune to play once you're chit-chatting with tree spirits in a lovely copse. I'm particularly happy with how that cello sounds throughout. In addition to this slightly niche usage, "Blossom" is good for peaceful woodlands, for heavenly planes, or even just a rich person's manor (the rare non-evil RPG rich person). 

There's not a variant version of this yet, and I don't feel like doing a separate post, so feel free to grab the looping mp3 in this post! Also, let me know if you like that SFX! I do tons of sound design for my "day job," so if you dig this, I can definitely do more.
