QUICK NOTE: The track that tied for first in my June track request poll (Muzak d20: Tunes to Shop By) will be released sometime next month. I had some pretty big life events this month (marriage + moving 800 miles), so things got a bit busy. Don't worry: you'll have some sweet bossa beats next month for all of your chill shopping sessions.

I love getting suggestions from fellow Patreon creators for my monthly track request polls. This month, patron and map maker Mutenn suggested "vaporwave dungeon" which, I have to admit, I initially had no idea how to do. Mutenn then suggested that if it won the poll, he'd make a map for me to share. To (I think) no one's surprise, it tied for first. This zany map is perfectly weird and abstract. Plenty of retro vibes to get your cyberpunk or other sci-fi campaigns kicked into full gear. Or maybe you're playing D&D and you've just got a very unorthodox portrayal of the astral plane. Regardless, your players will be grooving in style with this gorgeous map. Mutenn also showed me an insane animated version of this map that's available for his $2 and up patrons. It's honestly so cool, and it makes me want to DM a whole vaporwave-y campaign. Go support him! His maps are gorgeous and diverse.
My track "Dillinger Gate" is I think an accurate rendition of "Vaporwave" + "Dungeon" in music form. It's got the detuned / slowed down / degraded tape-recorder synths, disarmingly smooth saxophones, and just slightly off kilter percussive sounds. To be honest, this'll probably work fairly well for a wide array of corporate dungeons: Shadowrun is full of these, but a dilapidated shopping mall, glitchy mainframe, or other uneasy retrofuture settings will benefit from the aesthetic.
I've got one more track coming later this week and then a big bundle of tracks and collaborations sometime next week. Stay tuned!
