The Baggywrinkles in the last post are of course for reducing chafe on the mainsail - they are made from "small stuff" (short bits of old rope) tied onto a longer line that is then wrapped around the shrouds that the mainsail rests on, and are particularly useful for long downwind passages.

There were many hilarious responses to my question, but probably the most popular was that Joe and Nic have been making some kind of replacement for toilet paper 😅

Meanwhile, here is a photo of my favourite anchorage so far in the Sea of Cortez - you can just see Tally Ho anchored in the sandy bay.

I've spent some hours searching in google maps that spot in the Sea of Cortez . Any clue?

Lovely sheltered anchorage from most points of the Compass and you had it to yourselves!

We just ordered a 2026 boat wall calendar. I would MUCH prefer to spend a year (preferably many years) looking at gorgeous shots from Tally Ho’s voyages!

OMG, what a beautiful photo of TH in such a beautiful cove with the blue water and high peaks. Would love to spend a few days anchored there.

Oh my. Those are the sights that dreams are made of. Thank you for sharing.

Just a thought. You might want to create a calendar using some of these shots. I already have a folder full of the ones you provide and screenshots from your videos. I know I'd buy a calendar.
