The first sketch features an OC from this month’s Pink Bunny patron. I was asked to draw her in The Jaws, so I surrounded her with curious eyes :)
The second one is part of the concept art for North. I actually made it months ago, but I was waiting to reveal her somewhere else before showing this piece of concept art (her first appearance wasn’t originally planned to be in a comic). Now you know she’s based on the northern cardinal, a bird that, by the way, is only red when it’s male ;) She’s not going to be the only character I have that's based on a bird, but it might be a while before I introduce you to the others.
The third image is a WIP of the next comic I’ll be posting. It’s exactly as you see it. I don’t have more sketches because this month I started working on the Howler’s Row comics, and with them I’m trying a different process. Normally, I sketch on one layer and then ink on other layer, but for the comics I’m going with the flow and drawing directly over the sketch, cleaning it up to turn it into the lineart. That’s why I end up losing the sketches during the process for these comics.
