Development Update: July 2021

Another week, another update. I have quite a lot planned for this month, but before that - an update on where Dreams of Reality Ch3:Part Two is right now.

Currently the script is holding steady at just under 20k words. There is still some writing to be added and a final edit before it goes into the game. Of course there is also the playthrough edit I will do once the update has been completed.

I have 2160 animation frames and 597 static renders (this number will increase).

I would say the update is a good 80% complete, the final 20% being an insane amount of images to render for the ending of the chapter.

So, moving forward, this month I want to have the rendered images near completion and be able to start working on play testing and final edit of the story.

I have a very (VERY!) provisional release window of the end of next month. A little longer than I had hoped, but given the branches leading into the aforementioned ending it does require a lot more script and scene work.

I should be able to dial this down further as the month progresses. What else do I have planned? The livestream was a good success and I had fun, so I will be doing another this Saturday (3/07/21 - 8PM GMT(UK time)) There will be the usual ping on discord at some point in the day as a reminder. Given that England are playing Ukraine at this time, I might be a little distracted.

This month is also 'Emily' Month, as the winner of the patreon poll, I will be posting images for the different support tiers over the next few weeks. I even have a couple sfw images to post for non-patrons as well this time!

I do plan to get the second part of the Q and A done this month also and you can still submit questions as I will probably have time to answer them, and if not I will perhaps answer them in a post on here at some point.
