Mild change in content schedule goin forward! [7/3/2023]

We've been mulling it over for a while now and have made a decision that will very mildly change what we're making going forward. Our schedule used to be:
Every month you used to get:
- 2 early access anime podcasts
- 1 poll decided next month's BBB or CCC
- 1 exclusive Cursed Content Committee or Blessed Blontent Blub
- 1 exclusive commentary track if it was CCC that month
We've decided to stop making Cursed Content Committees and go back to making more Cursed Content Clubs. This barely changes what we're making monthly, the review will just be public/free while the commentary tracks will still be exclusive. So now:
Every month you will get:
- 2 early access anime podcasts
- 1 exclusive Blessed Blontent Blub OR commentary track for Cursed Content Club
- 1 poll to decide the BBB movie (which is every other month!)
- Everyone gets 1 Cursed Content Club Review
TL;dr - You're still getting the same amount of content but the CC Club reviews are public instead of exclusive to patreon & there isn't voting on Cursed Content Club. Everything else stays the same.
Why are we doing this?
Quite simply, it will really help us laser focus the show on what we want to cover and when (like Dr. Horrible during a Writers Strike,) it will help grow the channel which helps us stay financially afloat, and I'm deeply sympathetic to people without money who missed CC Club going away when we had to make Committees every other month. If you track our output on Clubs, they basically wound down fast when we had to go through all the work of making an exclusive version every other month for patreon.

Are you making the old cursed content by committees public or just doing this going forward? Either way is fine it just seems a little unclear

Maybe add links to the "about" page (or pinned post with links), to the podcast feeds, along with a note that the public ones *do not* appear here. Especially since twitter appears to be dying, so who knows how much that will interfere with people's ability to be notified of your content.

2023-07-03 20:52:28 +0000 UTCThe change seems fine to me. It was always a nice surprise when a random CCC that wasn't voted on would pop up. As long as the commentary track for the cursed stuff doesn't go away. I'm not going to lie though I am going to miss the flashbang that came at the end of every BBB. Who doesn't love a good sucker punch? I'll also miss the trailer reaction for the cursed stuff. The cries of disgust gave me the energy I needed lol.
