Geoff mixing Ziggy Marley

It's a great balance but low end heavy and dry on the vocals. The advice would be to get the vocals (ziggy) more present in the top end. Put a reverb on him and maybe add some delay that bounces with the track. Currently there is no "room" so give the track a space. Just imaging where you normally hear this track and pop it in that space. It will give the track a 3d ness.

Overall not bad at all!

Hey Guido I just saw you posted the video --', thanks for the feedback!! Indeed, I got the stems from puremix but they gave only 50 seconds of the song; still a good practice tho. Since last time I went a bit overboard with the high end I tried to back up a bit but after you compared it with the original mix I realise my mix sounds dry af. I used aural exciter on a return channel for the vocals but it seemed I didn't push them enough and the same with reverb. I'm gonna mix it again but this time I'm gonna try to process a bit more and apply the tips you gave me. PS: Gem dopamine is also a very very good plugin (kind similar to Type A) to add top end/excitement to vocals.
