The update introduces an Assistant Bot — a chat widget integrated into the tool to assist users by answering questions related to the Fantasy Map Generator.

Powered by OpenAI’s GPT-4o model, the bot has been trained to provide information specific to the generator, including map creation, customization, and basic troubleshooting. Currently, the Assistant Bot is in test mode, meaning its capabilities are still being evaluated and refined. Over time, we will collect feedback and make improvements to its performance, accuracy, and overall usability.

The bot is intended as a convenient first-line resource for users, helping to answer frequently asked questions on how to use the Generator and offering basic guidance when needed. However, like all AI models, it is prone to errors, known as hallucinations, where it may produce incorrect or misleading responses. Therefore, we advise users to critically assess the bot’s responses. Also the Bot doesn't know anything about your specific map, its states, cultures, and so on. If the bot is not helpful, please join our Discord server, where real people can help you.

Need to mention, that the Bot supports any language. The Tool UI is in English, but you can ask your questions in your native language without any issues. The Bot will understand you.

User feedback will play a crucial role in improving the bot’s functionality. We encourage you to report any unclear or incorrect responses, and if possible, suggest what you believe would be a better answer. This feedback will be incorporated into the bot’s training data, allowing it to improve over time.
