So ive been working like crazy on the toy story collab and soon il be able to show you some sneak peaks but a couple of days ago the event organizer decided to extend the deadline of the collab until september meaning the noose around my neck got a lot less tight so i can start working on everything else more.
I haven´t resumed the monika classroom animation i was doing but since she is very tricky to color on flipnote studio and everything i have done is on black & white i really needed to do some full body examples of monika before i can get for serious on that animation, i will do at least one more monika drawing from the back for future reference.
Also ddlc plus is a thing! I havent played it or watch any playthroughs so i dont know if its any good, patrons that have experience it can leave in the comments their opinions about the game but keep it mostly spoiler free pls :p

One of the best parts of ddlc for me (besides Monika) was that the game would mess with its own directory every now and then just to scare you. The inclusion of a fake game directory no longer makes it feel genuine and the scares are completely negated. In most games, especially ones tagged as a horror title, when you see a fake computer, most people already know that spooky stuff is going to happen there, nullifying the scare depending on the person playing the game. That's just my take on the game anyway.

2021-07-11 17:31:18 +0000 UTCI´m very curious to see how did they manage to do the meta altering gameplay on nintendo switch, The first time I originally played ddlc was the LovePotion fan version on the 3ds and what they did was to have an option in the main menu to see and delete the character files so my guess is that ddlc+ did something similar.

2021-07-09 05:27:38 +0000 UTCI personally despise DDLC+ for many reasons, both related to gameplay changes, engine changes (which makes modding way harder) and especially lore reasons. Best thing to come out of it is the hard work of artists, especially this lovely piece. :>
