Comic Update #2 - Chapter 1 Clean Up Progress, References etc

I've cleaned up 9/34 pages of the first chapter and have drafted up story content up to chapter 5! I'm starting to get a direction for this first part of the story.
I had some freelance work earlier this month that took up most of my time so apologise for not updating sooner - these actually take quite a while to do, I'm considering switching up the process a little bit for Chapter 2 onwards, although I do want to try my best to maintain the quality. Adding colour to the pages will be the most fun part and it'll give an idea of the type of world they're in, so I'll use this opportunity to go over some of my process.
Soooo I'm not the best at drawing backgrounds or creating worlds, but I figured I’d just do what I can and learn along the way. I know exactly what key locale I wanted and have them jotted down for later such as this restaurant they're in, belonging to a reoccurring bg character, the high street, and I know the setting was gonna be inspired by tropical environments such as the Caribbean and Oceania.
I watch lots of travel videos on YouTube for inspiration since I can't really afford to travel like that, but also had some of my own reference photos from our family trip to Jamaica several years ago. For the restaurant, this one from one of Mark Weins' videos hit me, so I figured I'd just mix that with a restaurant I was at in Jamaica - It'll make more sense when I add colours lol
In the following chapters I'm going to do layouts of any key story locale first so I can keep consistency
