A fun start. A big premise is that most of the dialogue for the kids is improvised, their timing and obviously some of the editing helps drive aspects of the delivery of the comedy. Them running the show as you can imagine is half the point. These parents breaking the cardinal rule of attempting negotiative parenting, and how these little devils and darlings run rings around them. These natural child actors only get better. As always, it's all in the casting. I grew to adore this on screen couple over the years. About a year after the show was over, they did together in real life. The keys moment is the realist thing thing ever committed to film. 🤣
