Evan and Cappie's former friendship is revealed, as is the reason he and Casey broke up, and why the ball was canceled the previous year.
Casey finds out about a past kind act by Frannie, which allows Casey to forgive her, reinstating Frannie at ZBZ.
****This was easily the best episode so far. I didn't realize how much I was craving the backstory of these three until I got it! I'm still torn on how to feel about Frannie. She really does seem sincere, but I have no reason to believe once she gets Casey to let her back into the house, she won't go back to her scheming, bitchy self.

i love a good flashback episode so this was always a fav! the cappie/evan dynamic has always been one of the most interesting to me so it’s nice to see some of the friendship before things went wrong. i get why casey and evan connected and i don’t really blame them, but it definitely must have been hard for cappie to go from dating casey and being best friends with evan to them then dating. and even if it is for rebecca right now, it is nice to see him learning from his mistakes and trying to do better.
